I've been seeing a lot of doomsayers post about EVs lately and the cost of the battery and repairs etc.. this review was refreshing and helpful thank you 🙏

I love the tic tac toe games in the dust. Definitely can tell you have kids! About to make our first road trip and unfortunately I haven't received my NACS adapter

That cooler you had in your bed as you made lunch. Did you store that in the front trunk? If yes, how did you like the access being as open and low as Ford has it designed. This is something others trucks did not have, specifically such a low entrance access point. A really nice feature. Rivian for example, you have to lift it up and over to get something inside.

We stored the cooler in the Frunk during our day trips out and about in San Diego so that it wouldn’t take up cab space while not worrying about it getting snagged from the bed. We use the frunk nearly every day because of how convenient and well designed it is. During our long distance trip we kept it in the bed but had a ton of other things in the frunk that we wouldn’t need to go in and out of frequently.

As a fellow Colorado guy, it's nice to hear about your trip experience. I watched your video on OoS and just stumbled on this one. I'm looking at an XLT and Pro equipped with almost identical packages and it sure is nice to see a current video rather than scan through year old material. As convenient as an ER might be for long trips, it's hard for me to justify the extra $7k when most of my driving is local or the occasional trip to Gunnison or Steamboat.

@@benjaminwestby5836 nothing wrong with that! I just purchased a ninja sizzler. Think for camping/road trips I’m going to use an instant pot + ninja sizzler to cover all bases.
