yes I really did enjoy this video. Wow the pantry behind the tv-sure could store a lot in that. Just wondering what trailer would you recommend for full timing 4 seasons? My husband will be retiring soon and we have just started looking. As of now I like the Airstream pottery barn addition and the Arctic Fox. Sure would love to hear your advice from an experienced Rver. You are so knowledgeable. Thank you

I have the venture sport trek 343vbh, we’re a family of 5 and have had it for 2 years now, it is an absolute amazing trailer. Next summer we’re taking it from florida to Yellowstone and back. I pull it with a 2018 Toyota Tundra and it pulls it great

I prefer the first one because it's perfect for one! Nice and roomy. However, two things I don't care for are the "fake" wood look on all the trailers and the stove is jammed in the corner with no counter space to the left of it. They all are cool and unique in their way. Thanks

Wow!!! Thank you so much for this information 😊 I LOVE the hidden closet spaces, the front living room and the very large bunks. The outside kitchen was huge compared to others. I wish I had a truck!!
Selling points for me: couches that jackknife out into beds, nightstands on either side of the master bed, a bath and half, at least a small tub (I'm a soaker), lots of storage, and double-bowl kitchen sinks to make washing dishes easier. Sold!

We have an unique issue when looking for a travel trailer. Hubby has a prosthetic leg and uses a walker. I'm looking for a trailer that has enough room in the bathroom for a prosthetic leg. These have their own unique challenges when using the restroom.

Loved that first camper, didn’t like the second camper because of entertainment center’s positioning. I don’t mined bathrooms before bedroom because that means no reason for others to be in mom and dad’s space. Our kids are all grown so I have no use for bunks but take out bunks and makes nice space for our beagles, but definitely do not want them under my bed.😊 loved giant pantry in 3rd camper. My must are queen bed or bigger with night tables, positioning of tv to my couch, good elbow room in bathroom, washer/dryer hookups, decent counters space and storage. Now that I have it in new camper, on demand hot water and solar for battery.

Great job guys personally there is no disadvantage for me because folks don't have to walk through my master bedroom to get to the bathroom that is an advantage my brother they don't have to walk through my room to get to a bathroom so no disadvantage thank you my opinion of course. Love the bunkroom in the camper but need the u shaped dinette. We have 5 kids and it always seems like you get one or the other but can't get a large bunkroom and lots of seating in the living/dining space as well. Id give up the 2nd bath for more seating anyday.

I pull it with my 2018 Toyota Tundra and it pulls great. We have towed it probably close to 15k miles already and it pulls amazing. I did add helper springs and load range E Bridgestone tires, along with the Reese load distributing hitch

Very interesting video. Thanks for sharing. We're looking for a slightly larger trailer with space for an office (bunk house reno?) also living room seating that gives more options; i.e., separate lounge chairs (Okanagan Eclipse) as well as a sofa. We do not like the idea of having only 2 side x side theater seats and a dinette for seating. We full-time so we would like space to move around and sit on a chair, or the sofa, or the dinette, etc. Any suggestions as to a travel trailer that we should look at? Hi Doug, Not sure of you budget but the Airstream Classic is a great full time travel trailer option. It even features a desk in the kitchen plus a couch and dinette. But they don't have a floor plan with a sofa, dinette and desk or office space. We've been looking at Class A's and it's really tough to find office space! We figure we will be working at the dinette in the future. KZ offers some good floor plans that are at a lower price point and we have heard good things from people who own them. @@RVBlogger Washer/Dryer in full size bathroom... Awesome kitchen layout with open floor plan living area and 50" TV easy for all to see... Finally, the bedroom is very nice with its own air conditioning and fireplaces as well as a king bed in the slide with bunches of clothing storage areas and a sit down bench in the front windshield... motion lighting switch for ceiling lighting! I spent months looking for this perfect camper! Open drawbacks are limited outboard storage (I would store a bunch of batteries in the small front storage bays and deck the entire roof with solar panels) and no outside kitchen, but I would store most stuff in the camper or the truck bed anyway.
@@commonsenseguy8189 Just looked up the floor plan and it looks pretty nice! I can't remember the last time we saw one of the Lacrosse models. Inventory is so low it's hard to find everything we would like to shoot. But now that we know about this model we will definitely keep an eye out for it! Thanks for the suggestion! Mike
@@RVBlogger Your welcome, its the one I will be buying... I love the standard 30" entry door as well. I would probably remove the sleeper sofa and put a computer desk in its location. I am looking into the Ford F150 Hybrid with its 7.2kw Power Generator on board with a 30A connection in the bed... The entire truck runs idle off and on to keep the huge battery charged running off the fuel tank of the truck... over 20 gallon gas generator that is as quite as a idling pickup... sweet! Just checking the tow weight numbers... Looks like it can tow this camper without having to upgrade to a F250..

Hi BellaRose, Glad you like the video!!! Adventure RV makes a great trailer for 4 season camping. They are located on the west coast so we don't see many of them here on the east coast. The Arctic Fox is another great choice! Sounds like you are on the right track! Airstreams are great campers and if you will not be camping in cold climates then they are an excellent choice. The cross roads zinger 299RE beat out the Venture Sport because of the washer/dryer hook up. Is that an option in for the venture sport trak 343VBH or Keystone Outback 294UBH or Crossroads Zinger 259FL?

I've never understood the aesthetic of trailers. I'm sure the finishes are of good quality, but everything looks fake and plastic-y and sad. Wood doesn't naturally come stained grey... Also that "back splash" stops like 2 inches from the bottom of the upper cabinet... Seriously?? I'd be pissed if a contractor renovating my kitchen wimped out, much less a $40k brand new construction...
All good points. Manufacturers need to keep the weight of the RV in mind so you might get fake and plastic-y. Luckily they are getting away from the brown wood but even residentail walls and flooring is grey these days. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@RVBlogger Yes, and I hate flippers who come in and strip homes of personality to put in white cabinets with no knobs, subway tile backsplashes, and paint everything some shade of Sad Grey. It's a cold aesthetic and it needs to die like 10 years ago. There are cheap, lightweight options that don't look sad, grey, fake, and plastic-y. There are some really high quality vinyl floors these days with wonderfully warm wooden textures. There are lightweight backsplashes that are resilient and attractive, and would bend with the sway of the trailer in a way that tile or glass never could. There are options out there to give a trailer a personality outside of Sad Grey Modern Monstrosity... but no. Manufacturers are going to continue to make Sad Grey Modern Monstrosities because they tested well once upon a time long, long ago, and change is a difficult concept for C-suites and other decision-makers to actually process. It's not technically broken, so why bother fixing it? It works, it's just cold in the soul... if it even has a soul.
@@favouriteK luckily there are still travel trailers out there that aren’t grey. They built brown interiors for decades. I for one was glad to see them getting a little creative with the interiors.

My problem with campers, I know your not watching TV all the time but, you do play music and some campers have speakers mounted outside too. However the quality of the "entertainment system" well, It sucks. I would expect higher quality especially for the money your laying down. Furrion and Jensen? really Jensen. They are equal to old JC Whitney stuff. Why not put a JVC or Pioneer with some high end Infinity, Polk, Rockford Fosgate. I mean the first one of the bat your talking about a soundbar. I haven't found a soundbar In the world nope, not even Sonos that can reproduce sound like a small form factor 3.1. Its just like a slap In the face here Is your 70k fifth wheel with the cheapest crap of an entertainment center money can buy have a good time.

I have the venture sport trek 343vbh, we’re a family of 5 and have had it for 2 years now, it is an absolute amazing trailer. Next summer we’re taking it from florida to Yellowstone and back. I pull it with a 2018 Toyota Tundra and it pulls it great

Selling points for me: couches that jackknife out into beds, nightstands on either side of the master bed, a bath and half, at least a small tub (I'm a soaker), lots of storage, and double-bowl kitchen sinks to make washing dishes easier. Sold!

We have an unique issue when looking for a travel trailer. Hubby has a prosthetic leg and uses a walker. I'm looking for a trailer that has enough room in the bathroom for a prosthetic leg. These have their own unique challenges when using the restroom.

Loved that first camper, didn’t like the second camper because of entertainment center’s positioning. I don’t mined bathrooms before bedroom because that means no reason for others to be in mom and dad’s space. Our kids are all grown so I have no use for bunks but take out bunks and makes nice space for our beagles, but definitely do not want them under my bed.😊 loved giant pantry in 3rd camper. My must are queen bed or bigger with night tables, positioning of tv to my couch, good elbow room in bathroom, washer/dryer hookups, decent counters space and storage. Now that I have it in new camper, on demand hot water and solar for battery.

Love the bunkroom in the camper but need the u shaped dinette. We have 5 kids and it always seems like you get one or the other but can't get a large bunkroom and lots of seating in the living/dining space as well. Id give up the 2nd bath for more seating anyday.

I pull it with my 2018 Toyota Tundra and it pulls great. We have towed it probably close to 15k miles already and it pulls amazing. I did add helper springs and load range E Bridgestone tires, along with the Reese load distributing hitch
I have watched a couple of your Videos and you seem to skip Telling us What kind of Refrigerator is in the trailer 12 v D/C? Propane ? 120v A/C?
In the beginning of creating our videos we weren't as thorough on some of the details. Hopefully we have improved. Luckily the manufacturer usually includes that information on their website. Thanks for watching and commenting David.

Very interesting video. Thanks for sharing. We're looking for a slightly larger trailer with space for an office (bunk house reno?) also living room seating that gives more options; i.e., separate lounge chairs (Okanagan Eclipse) as well as a sofa. We do not like the idea of having only 2 side x side theater seats and a dinette for seating. We full-time so we would like space to move around and sit on a chair, or the sofa, or the dinette, etc. Any suggestions as to a travel trailer that we should look at? Not sure of you budget but the Airstream Classic is a great full time travel trailer option. It even features a desk in the kitchen plus a couch and dinette.

We also like Grand Design for full time travel. But they don't have a floor plan with a sofa, dinette and desk or office space. We've been looking at Class A's and it's really tough to find office space! We figure we will be working at the dinette in the future.
KZ offers some good floor plans that are at a lower price point and we have heard good things from people who own them. Here's link to one of their trailers that has a whole separate room that could be used as an office.

@@RVBlogger Washer/Dryer in full size bathroom... Awesome kitchen layout with open floor plan living area and 50" TV easy for all to see... Finally, the bedroom is very nice with its own air conditioning and fireplaces as well as a king bed in the slide with bunches of clothing storage areas and a sit down bench in the front windshield... motion lighting switch for ceiling lighting! I spent months looking for this perfect camper! Open drawbacks are limited outboard storage (I would store a bunch of batteries in the small front storage bays and deck the entire roof with solar panels) and no outside kitchen, but I would store most stuff in the camper or the truck bed anyway.
@@commonsenseguy8189 Just looked up the floor plan and it looks pretty nice! I can't remember the last time we saw one of the Lacrosse models. Inventory is so low it's hard to find everything we would like to shoot. But now that we know about this model we will definitely keep an eye out for it! Thanks for the suggestion!

@@RVBlogger Your welcome, its the one I will be buying... I love the standard 30" entry door as well. I would probably remove the sleeper sofa and put a computer desk in its location. I am looking into the Ford F150 Hybrid with its 7.2kw Power Generator on board with a 30A connection in the bed... The entire truck runs idle off and on to keep the huge battery charged running off the fuel tank of the truck... over 20 gallon gas generator that is as quite as a idling pickup... sweet! Just checking the tow weight numbers... Looks like it can tow this camper without having to upgrade to a F250..

Glad you like the video!!! Adventure RV makes a great trailer for 4 season camping. They are located on the west coast so we don't see many of them here on the east coast. The Arctic Fox is another great choice! Sounds like you are on the right track! Airstreams are great campers and if you will not be camping in cold climates then they are an excellent choice. Hope that helps!

The cross roads zinger 299RE beat out the Venture Sport because of the washer/dryer hook up. Is that an option in for the venture sport trak 343VBH or Keystone Outback 294UBH or Crossroads Zinger 259FL?

I've never understood the aesthetic of trailers. I'm sure the finishes are of good quality, but everything looks fake and plastic-y and sad. Wood doesn't naturally come stained grey... Also that "back splash" stops like 2 inches from the bottom of the upper cabinet... Seriously?? I'd be pissed if a contractor renovating my kitchen wimped out, much less a $40k brand new construction...
All good points. Manufacturers need to keep the weight of the RV in mind so you might get fake and plastic-y. Luckily they are getting away from the brown wood but even residentail walls and flooring is grey these days. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@RVBlogger Yes, and I hate flippers who come in and strip homes of personality to put in white cabinets with no knobs, subway tile backsplashes, and paint everything some shade of Sad Grey. It's a cold aesthetic and it needs to die like 10 years ago. There are cheap, lightweight options that don't look sad, grey, fake, and plastic-y. There are some really high quality vinyl floors these days with wonderfully warm wooden textures. There are lightweight backsplashes that are resilient and attractive, and would bend with the sway of the trailer in a way that tile or glass never could. There are options out there to give a trailer a personality outside of Sad Grey Modern Monstrosity... but no. Manufacturers are going to continue to make Sad Grey Modern Monstrosities because they tested well once upon a time long, long ago, and change is a difficult concept for C-suites and other decision-makers to actually process. It's not technically broken, so why bother fixing it? It works, it's just cold in the soul... if it even has a soul.
@@favouriteK luckily there are still travel trailers out there that aren’t grey. They built brown interiors for decades. I for one was glad to see them getting a little creative with the interiors.

My problem with campers, I know your not watching TV all the time but, you do play music and some campers have speakers mounted outside too. However the quality of the "entertainment system" well, It sucks. I would expect higher quality especially for the money your laying down. Furrion and Jensen? really Jensen. They are equal to old JC Whitney stuff. Why not put a JVC or Pioneer with some high end Infinity, Polk, Rockford Fosgate. I mean the first one of the bat your talking about a soundbar. I haven't found a soundbar In the world nope, not even Sonos that can reproduce sound like a small form factor 3.1. Its just like a slap In the face here Is your 70k fifth wheel with the cheapest crap of an entertainment center money can buy have a good time.
