French Hitching is a great way to elegantly and stylishly wrap a rock, staff, piece of wood, or any other rectangular/cylindrical object. In today’s video I show you the details of this tying technique, along with all the materials you’ll need to get the job done. Please Note: The use of Side Cutters can be replaced with Scissors, and the use of a Lacing Fid can be replaced with a Screw Driver or Butter Knife.
No way he’s back again! So glad to see that 😊
Thanks, glad to be back 🌿
@@TyingItAllTogether You have no idea how ecstatic I was to see a new video from you show up in my feed. So happy you are back man. :)
wow, so happy to see this channel active again
I’m glad :-) 🌿
It’s great to see another video, my granddaughter watched it and ran outside and found a rock and came back in and said let’s do it. The rock was only about 1.5 “ and about .75”, so we used some micro cord and we did it. I’d like to show you but don’t know how to show you a picture. Love your work
That is so great. Thank you for letting me know. You can send images to jd@fusionknots.com or post them on the Tying It All Together FB Community Page. Best to you! 🌿
The Return Of The King. I'm a bit late, but welcome back JD! Glad you've been inspired to upload again!
The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials Thank you so much. Life has provided me the opportunity to spend more time with my son, and designing/teaching ties, again. And, I’m happy to be doing, both. Best to you 🌿

Hooray. Welcome back👍
Thank you 🌿
And this is why we hit sub! So glad to see you back.
Thanks! 🌿
whoo hooo you are back. I tied several of your bracelet designs to use as staff camp wrist bands. they worked so much better than the plastic paper things and was a memento to keep for after camp. Was able to get several boy scouts interested in knot tying from seeing the bracelets also. So win win.
Super win :-) 🌿
That was a looong time. Nice to see you back :)
Thanks! 🌿
Legend is back
Oh my gosh, this is going to be so fun and creative. Thanks for sharing the craft.

@@TyingItAllTogether I just looked you up a day or so ago, recently got interested in shibari and remembered something about two knotty boys lol
A new video!! Awesome!
Thanks! 🌿
Welcome back and great video 😁
Thank you! :-) Many more to come 🌿
So Beautiful! And it can be used in so many ways! I see pendants of small stones wrapped in thin wire, even bracelets by doing the wrapping around something that can be removed! Thank you!! 😀
You’re welcome, and...yes 🌿
Welcome back !
Thanks 🌿
Heck yeah!! JD is back!!
He's alive!🙂
*lol* Yes :-) 🌿
Welcome back missed your video’s

Welcome back
Sandi Miller Thanks! 🌿
Nice to see you making content again, hope that you’re doing well (and selfishly hoping there’s more to come! 😜)
I’m doing well, and...there’s more to come :-) 🌿
What I enjoy it so much about your video is that you were taking the time to do it slowly so that we all can follow what you were doing and I truly wish more people did that On all kinds of videos… Do you have any information on how we can find different patterns for the rock wrappings?
Nice! Thank you for the new video!
You’re welcome 🌿
Blimey. It’s been a while. I remember chatting to you years ago about your book which was coming out in Japan (I’m based here). I dont remember how many years ago that was. Anyway. Fantastic to see you back on here. I believe I’ve probably tied your entire archive of videos. :)
I’m glad to be back :-) 🌿 Since the early days, I’ve published many books, two in Japan. Check out FusionKnots.com for details.
Wow! Welcome back! :D
Thanks :-) 🌿
JD...so nice to see you posting videos again! I was really hoping that you would start posting some of your wrapped rocks in videos! They are so beautiful and glad to see you back again...it has been too long since your last vids! You got me started on the right foot with paracord so this will be fun to do as well! :-)
Right on! And, thank you! More rock wraps videos to come...a lot actually. 🌿
Great to see you back. Have always enjoyed your creations. Have followed and tied most of them, from your early rope flog video to your published books. Sadly, I don't think I have any of them left - have given them all away, except the patterns I copied for a few personal slings and lanyards. Hope to see you continue on. BTW, last we heard from you, I believe, you had just become a proud papa? A future knot fuser to look forward to!
Thanks...and true, he’s 5, as of March. 🌿
thanks jd 👍🏻
You’re welcome 🌿
С возвращением!!!
Спасибо! 🌿
Thanks for all, its a joy and wish u made some more please!
Most excellent! Thank you.
Long time no see and a warm welcome back!
Thank you. Very much appreciated. 🌿
That's fantastic! Can't wait to try it ☺
Thanks for eady videos to follow is there a reason why you dont burn the edges at the end of the keather before tucking them in so they wont fray? I do jewelry bracelets and we were taught to burn ends before finishing i like idea not nie burn but worry about fraying can i use hemp to start on my leather is supply right now is presciously low and wondered will pieces hold up with hemp fabric thread? To begin with to i become more confident in my skill..i seen cane work on ricks and would like to eventuallyuse that tyoe of mefian but i think thats going to be another pricess of learning supply and skill..lol...so basic just hemp thread for now.....Mikelle art mom🎨👩🎨✍
Wow...i love this too...i am so excited to do mine now!!!
Nice!!!!!! Very. Nice!!!! My name si Liza, living in buenos Aires/Argentina.sorry My English is for cry.
¡¡¡¡ Resucitó !!!! 😲😳😆
Si *jajaja*
This is so cool. I make jewelry, and I'm already envisioning doing this with smaller stones and narrow gauge cording to create pendants. I wonder if there is a way to continue the cording on the back to create a bail...
which one of your books would be best for rock wrapping?
That's so cool!
What about angling the cut-off ends under the wraps so the ridges they make meet underneath?
The techniques I show are simply examples of what can be done. That said, I like your idea. Give it a go. :-) 👍🏼✨
Is it possible to know your name?
I would,like to know
What's the name of the cord and also where to buy it
And the tool you use
To,open the cord
Please tell me
THANK YOU
Oooooooohhhhhhhhh bbbbbbooooyyyyyy
*smile* 🌿
Where do you get a lacing fid?
Is this so your pet rock doesn't run away?
*lol* It’s for the joy of tying and the art of it all...but yeah, that too. ;-) 🌿
@@TyingItAllTogether No. No. It's definitely for my pet rock, Rocky. He keeps tryin to run away all the time. He's got a heart of stone, that one does.
This is almost the same as backward loop cast on in knitting
