Love this build but I actually struggled with it for solo play. But I found its the best for countdown and a lot of fun. It's probably just my playstyle though. For solo I'm using a hunters furry skill build with cold relations and Scorpio. Just works for me

For a new player or even a returning one. The first build I always recommnd is a skill build. Turret and striker drone. That way you can farm ANYTHING upto legendary.
@@oKeldeo All builds can get boring. The video isnt about what is the most fun/boring. Its about the best build for a solo new players. Which is without doubt a skill build with Turret/striker.
I would definitely recommend the skill build for newer players it will help you solo everything on heroic and farm for the other gear and yes it can get boring and at that point switch to something else and you will realize how bad you miss the skill build lol (personal experience)

New players should experience the game and the actual gunplay and cover system. Sitting in cover and letting robots kill everything is boring as hell and would've definitely turned me away from the game if I used it back when I was new at game launch
I just got back into division 2 a couple months ago, and this build was fantastic. I also really enjoyed all your heartbreaker builds. You are one of the very few content creators that when talking about and making your builds, you always give alternatives for unlucky individuals such as myself. I can't get a Memento drop to save my life. Instead it literally rains Acosta's Go-Bag when I farm for backpacks. It's quite infuriating at this point, since literally every build is centered around Memento almost. That's why when I'm looking for new builds I come straight here. So thank you sir, and keep up the good work!
Basically run this, except all red cores with 775k armour, ceska chest with obliterate and a groupo sombra backpack with vigilance. Dark Winter and a Scorpio. DPS at the shooting range maxes out at about 13.2 million depending on how many crits land, seen it go up as high as 16.6 million with glass cannon. In regards to using momento, it’s a great item that offer a lot of utility, but it actually lowers total POTENTIAL damage, same goes for the coyote gas mask. This is one of those few builds that actually benefits from not using exotics, I even used to run my enforcer instead of the Scorpio. In which case just run a Liberty for show lol

This build works great, even with marginal gear. I picked up 4pc Hunter's Fury as you said, blue'd them up, and put in my little +10% crit damage mods. Chest is a crafted Sokolov "replica" and backpack is Memento. I'm using a vendor-bought P90 and an ACS-12 as weapons. I murdered my way through a level 3 control point and a Challenging bounty hardly breaking a sweat. The only time I died is trying to fight off a pack of Hyenas at a supply drop AND one of those big Black Tusk quadcopters that spawned right over top of me. Stupid rockets. :) I love the fact that you don't need exotic weapons to make this work, any good high-end SMG/shotgun/sidearm combo will get the job done. It does fall down a bit on range obviously but I figure I'll keep an LMG or AR handy for those situations and use that as my third +15% damage selection in Gunner spec. Thank you!!
i think i'd rather run a heartbreaker build because scoring hits builds armor stacks instead of kills. plus the bonus damage. i see better survivability from scoring hits over scoring kills for bonus armor stacks. not saying hunter's fury is bad. not at all. i've run a build similar to this, and still use it in IH on the second boss when i'm guarding a door/reading a monitor. everything i have to kill is right in my face, so the extra damage from hunter's fury helps a lot. i just found heartbreaker to be the better solo option that just about any other set.
Heartbreaker/Kingmaker with the Technician laser sight is great but this is a surprisingly good hit-and-run out-of-cover build even with meh gear. I'm nowhere near "god rolls" on any of my gear and only at about 45% crit and 80% crit damage and it's still good, granted I'm not trying Heroic but Hard is a no-brainer and Challenging isn't that bad if I use my head.

Hunters fury was my first build I made and it was off one of your older videos I had to mix it around because I didn’t have the pieces so what you said in the video about working your way up is great advise for new players!!
Just returned to Division 2 and made a build with what I had that sort of matches this and works great in heroic missions as I farm for the ideal chest piece to go with it. Have hope for it for the solo content. :)
As I'm moving up in difficulty, I'm dropping blues for reds. Need more damage to get kills. With 3 blues, I was barely tickling named enemies on heroic
Similar build but I run emilines guard instead of anything with in- sync, just a bit more survivability. Once I get lady death I'll probably run that over emilines guard and use the mop as my secondary.
Total change in play style for me, but I'm seeing the potential. The hunter pieces were easy, getting the right chest and bag is a work in progress. I thought dark winter would finally have a use for me, but I'm liking the banshee better
Thanks for this video, I've been playing season 10 and keep dying fighting Trig. I'm level 40 but have got there by total luck. I never realized you could craft and swap out talents and mods to the extent that you can. I'll try and farm the pieces I need. Thanks again.
LOL...I was having a hard time with the Trig bounty as well. I was using my super-squish Strikers build. After a couple of deaths I swapped to my HF/Momento/Scorpio and breezed through it.
I do this exact thing with memento too, I used chainkiller chest. I'm hitting for about 4m dps currently. Glass cannon though, stack crit chance / crit damage only.
yes but as stated in the video its for new and returning players. You have to start somewhere so this build is easier for new and returning but i mention if you have Scorpio and memento you can add it.
I use a build like this, less armor memento backpack and grupo chest with intimidate. sometimes I will swap the chest piece for an armor piece but usually don't need it.
By far the best starter build. One thing I do notice with Vector builds is that no one uses the vector that holds 53 bullets, when buffed with close and personal or insync, it's an absolute beast. That's 8 extra bullets which can be a life saver.
Just returned back to the game after a break, used this build to catch up and it has been a blast, hitting my timed runs for season ten and I finally got some high alert control points for the first time. This build is OP in my opinion, Thanks Skillz for the great content as always. My game play has leveled up for sure lol

So I just came back this December 2022, is this still viable? I've acquired lots of Hunters Fury gear - not a single piece has Armor or Health as its core, It looks like all your pieces do, did you mod the gear to get there?
I'm playing again after some time and do not remember much about recalibration. When talking about the Hunter gear farming using targetted loot, do we look for pieces that have armor as the core attribute in addition to Obliterate and then use Recalibraation to get the secondary attributes up? I thought there were restrictions on the number of times you can put a piece through recalibration. So, if I max out a Attrtibute, I'll no longer be able to change the Talentor Core Attrinute right so I need to target look for a piece with Armor as Core and Obliterate as talent and then tweak the secondat attributes? This seems like it would take months and months what with the randomness of targetted loot, then the randomness of the attributes and talents, or do I have a misunderstanding of the loot tweaking you can do at the recalibration station?

I found that I go to 35.6 % when I place the dark Winter at the first spot of wapon Do I have to keep it at the first spot to get the stat ? or is it still efective if I place it to the second spot ( I prefer my smg to be on the 2 key)
This is for newer players who don't have exotics if you do then the exotic versions would be my go to. The skills are if you are running in sync but if you aren't then you can run the defender drone
I just tested with the named gloves of 5.11 tactical who gives you another 10% Armor on kill, for me (so, 4 pieces hunter's Fury, 5.11 named gloves, and your Sokolov chestpiece, with the mop evenutally), it's nice, but not as your build

I'm trying it with a vendor-bought P90 with very meh rolls, so far so good on Hard and Challenging. I have a couple Lady Deaths in my stash, may try one instead.
Generally speaking, how long does it take to get to SHD Level 1000? I’m currently around Level 175-180. Am I in for a seriously long grind as a returning player?
Well i had the same question as well when i first started the game. I’m on 849 but it took for me 8-9 months and then i stopped playing, so if i have continued, i’d be around 1300-1400 SHD level. So it takes time but if you have a good build you make it faster. Keep it up!

It's 700,000 xp per level but completing a random thing on Hard (territory control, checkpoint, hostage rescue, etc.) seems to be worth well north of 100k so it goes fast. I am a very in-and-out player but am almost at SHD 500.

for solo i would recommended to use momento backpack instead since kills will be fast and all kills will be urs anyway for that sweet momento buffs, and for group i would use coyote mask. this build i made last week already. surprised u also make the exact same build minus the momento or coyote mask.
I have never played this game before and am messing around right now but do not have a clue what any of this stuff you are talking about is. I have tried searching for like a Division 2 for Dummies video but no luck.
I think it's random on weapons, so eventually you'll loot it then you can break down the weapon at the recalibration library. Farm somewhere where SMG is the loot item, either out in the real world or set SMG to your preferred item in Summit or Countdown.
is there a way to reroll both a talent and an attribute on an armor piece? like i notice on your sokolov pieces you have rerolled an attribute and optimized one but did you also have to reroll that talent for the crit damage? Or did you optimize all attributes on the Sokolov? @nothingbutskillz 2.0
I have 101% crit damage 44.2% crit chance, my vector is not the best it's missing 2 attribute's an my sokolov vest is missing 1 attribute, I have 4 piece hunters with crit chance and damage, but I'm still getting my ass kicked on heroic, it took me and 3 others around 40 minutes to clear out a control point. Btw I'm shd 108. My crit damage is only 287k and below so I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm also running the banshee pulse and the reviver hive because I go down a lot and my armor is 1.1mil.
you're not doing anything wrong. you need shd 1k and max expertise. you will get your ass handed to you until those things happen. sorry. div 2 is not a new player friendly game. i learned that the hard way a few months ago. grind your shd levels and make sure to stop at the recalibration counter to get expertise levels before you sell or deconstruct anything. and the best advice i can give you and your friends is... make a skill build. seriously. an at least 4 yellow core, 3 empress 2 wyvern waveform capacitor and smg with in sync on it and you'll cut through heroic content like its normal. i say at least 4 because skill tier 4 with enough skill damage and/or efficiency will melt heroic bosses in seconds. you can play around with the cores either blue or red for your other 2, and if you run tech spec, that's a free skill tier, too. skill builds make life easy for leveling.
@@BenaresDarkness yellow cores are the +1 skill tier gear pieces, blue cores are the armor pieces that give extra armor, empress and wyvern are the names of the different yellow gear sets (so called normal endgame gear) I also would recommend getting together a skill build first as a new player. My first endgame build was a (green) Rigger's set using striker drone and assault turret and trying to get skill damage attributes on everything. With that you can sit behind cover taking potshots at enemies when they are focused on shooting your drone or turret. Tricky part is learning where to throw your turret so it has the best field of fire.
the best build i think is heart breaker, mememto, king breaker and dare, closer. Talent from closer + 20% dmg to plus enemies, then king breaker and dare more 20% dmg = 40% dmg, and memto + 15% = allready 55% dmg. And talent from heart breaker regen 1% amor each hit, 1% dmg each hit max to 50% . And u dont have to reach near. it my build i am lv 500 now
The build is terrible, at least for a beginner. Yes, of course, if you have perfectly optimized everything on gear and the watch is already fully leveled and perfect mods etc., then it rocks - but then almost every build out there rocks. The build is strong at close range, if there are enemies to kill, once the distance is higher or the enemies are spread out or you have enemies with a lot of armor the build just sucks because you're always playing on the edge. When the buffs run out, you're dead against close-range enemies with high HP, but you're also useless at range in cover. And let's not even talk about mechanical opponents, who don't even count as kills and therefore don't give armor / buffs and just shredding you at close range.
words like WORK ON is the reason i dont play division2. too much WORK until you can have fun playin ghte game. i WORK all day and now i have to WORK 2 years in game to make a build. only SIMPS WORK in the game.
Horrible build.... striker drone? only works 25% of the time. It's become dev stupid. Just hovers or attacks targets not even rendered. It chases non rendered npcs as it seems now ai can see you half mile away from a control point. Game has gotten horrible mechanics wise. Npcs never help at CP they just watch and die. Ive ran 8 hrs of them and every time they go useless. Only build that you can rely on is a full skill build. Turret and the hive or chem launcher in challenging and above. Why atm i will never purchase another division game. Too many faults from a few patches ago.

Just play countdown 1 or 2 times with hunters fury and you have it. And then play it 1 or 2 times for sokolov and you should have that aswell.

yes I think this build is great for new and returning player then swap the backpack for memento after you get good pieces

I 100% agree this is a great starter. And when you get a Momento and a Scorpio, Heroic simply becomes "easy mode".

LOL...I was having a hard time with the Trig bounty as well. I was using my super-squish Strikers build. After a couple of deaths I swapped to my HF/Momento/Scorpio and breezed through it.

My first 40 build was a Providence Sacrifice and Gift red build. I died a lot until I got used to all reds. Much different than D1

Nah you explained this build for returning and new players perfectly, made a lot of sense and I’m not so intimidated with the map now

I don't do pve just missions and clearing vector SMG only for closed range

Some missions require longer range
Keep a rifle/marksman rifle handy, or pray your striker drone takes care of it

Same with me today. 5/25/24... I do not see any core armor builds for hunter fury and I've been in countdown a lot today.
Dont do summit just run countdown on heroic youll join a squad and they will carry you through the countdown

What is the best solo legendary build?
I just tested with the named gloves of 5.11 tactical who gives you another 10% Armor on kill, for me (so, 4 pieces hunter's Fury, 5.11 named gloves, and your Sokolov chestpiece, with the mop evenutally), it's nice, but not as your build

I was like 50 when I started Heroic on my new character so as long as you have a good hunters build you should be able to do it.

Mix blue and red. Try to get at least 1.3 mil armour. So 3 b and 3 r.
3/3 would be best honestly you have a enough damage from the hunter fury buffs

Generally speaking, how long does it take to get to SHD Level 1000? I’m currently around Level 175-180. Am I in for a seriously long grind as a returning player?
Well i had the same question as well when i first started the game. I’m on 849 but it took for me 8-9 months and then i stopped playing, so if i have continued, i’d be around 1300-1400 SHD level. So it takes time but if you have a good build you make it faster. Keep it up!

It's 700,000 xp per level but completing a random thing on Hard (territory control, checkpoint, hostage rescue, etc.) seems to be worth well north of 100k so it goes fast. I am a very in-and-out player but am almost at SHD 500.

What is the stats for this Build?
for solo i would recommended to use momento backpack instead since kills will be fast and all kills will be urs anyway for that sweet momento buffs, and for group i would use coyote mask. this build i made last week already. surprised u also make the exact same build minus the momento or coyote mask.

Where can I find the obliterate perk
I think it's random on weapons, so eventually you'll loot it then you can break down the weapon at the recalibration library. Farm somewhere where SMG is the loot item, either out in the real world or set SMG to your preferred item in Summit or Countdown.
A lot of damage when you are shd 1000 and up
is there a way to reroll both a talent and an attribute on an armor piece? like i notice on your sokolov pieces you have rerolled an attribute and optimized one but did you also have to reroll that talent for the crit damage? Or did you optimize all attributes on the Sokolov? @nothingbutskillz 2.0

I have 101% crit damage 44.2% crit chance, my vector is not the best it's missing 2 attribute's an my sokolov vest is missing 1 attribute, I have 4 piece hunters with crit chance and damage, but I'm still getting my ass kicked on heroic, it took me and 3 others around 40 minutes to clear out a control point. Btw I'm shd 108. My crit damage is only 287k and below so I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm also running the banshee pulse and the reviver hive because I go down a lot and my armor is 1.1mil.
you're not doing anything wrong. you need shd 1k and max expertise. you will get your ass handed to you until those things happen.
sorry. div 2 is not a new player friendly game. i learned that the hard way a few months ago. grind your shd levels and make sure to stop at the recalibration counter to get expertise levels before you sell or deconstruct anything.
and the best advice i can give you and your friends is... make a skill build. seriously. an at least 4 yellow core, 3 empress 2 wyvern waveform capacitor and smg with in sync on it and you'll cut through heroic content like its normal. i say at least 4 because skill tier 4 with enough skill damage and/or efficiency will melt heroic bosses in seconds. you can play around with the cores either blue or red for your other 2, and if you run tech spec, that's a free skill tier, too. skill builds make life easy for leveling.
you need more armor thats the problem. 3 blues and 3 reds is perfect for hunters
You don't need shd levels I have a 101 shd level account and do heroic easy with hunters fury

@@BenaresDarkness yellow cores are the +1 skill tier gear pieces, blue cores are the armor pieces that give extra armor, empress and wyvern are the names of the different yellow gear sets (so called normal endgame gear) I also would recommend getting together a skill build first as a new player. My first endgame build was a (green) Rigger's set using striker drone and assault turret and trying to get skill damage attributes on everything. With that you can sit behind cover taking potshots at enemies when they are focused on shooting your drone or turret. Tricky part is learning where to throw your turret so it has the best field of fire.
Could you have the same build but swap the mask for the coyote mask to get more crit change and damage

"For new or returning player" plays on 2.7k SHD and Weapon on KH 12.... ye, ez achieveable for new players :D
why do this build when you could've just done negotiator build instead, this is too much for just a crit build.
the best build i think is heart breaker, mememto, king breaker and dare, closer. Talent from closer + 20% dmg to plus enemies, then king breaker and dare more 20% dmg = 40% dmg, and memto + 15% = allready 55% dmg. And talent from heart breaker regen 1% amor each hit, 1% dmg each hit max to 50% . And u dont have to reach near. it my build i am lv 500 now

The build is terrible, at least for a beginner. Yes, of course, if you have perfectly optimized everything on gear and the watch is already fully leveled and perfect mods etc., then it rocks - but then almost every build out there rocks.
The build is strong at close range, if there are enemies to kill, once the distance is higher or the enemies are spread out or you have enemies with a lot of armor the build just sucks because you're always playing on the edge.
When the buffs run out, you're dead against close-range enemies with high HP, but you're also useless at range in cover.
And let's not even talk about mechanical opponents, who don't even count as kills and therefore don't give armor / buffs and just shredding you at close range.
words like WORK ON is the reason i dont play division2. too much WORK until you can have fun playin ghte game. i WORK all day and now i have to WORK 2 years in game to make a build. only SIMPS WORK in the game.
Horrible build.... striker drone? only works 25% of the time. It's become dev stupid. Just hovers or attacks targets not even rendered. It chases non rendered npcs as it seems now ai can see you half mile away from a control point. Game has gotten horrible mechanics wise. Npcs never help at CP they just watch and die. Ive ran 8 hrs of them and every time they go useless. Only build that you can rely on is a full skill build. Turret and the hive or chem launcher in challenging and above. Why atm i will never purchase another division game. Too many faults from a few patches ago.
