This is fucking beautiful work man, it totally does the original justice and adds an almost Yasunori Mitsuda-like epic melody on top of it all. Made my eyes start to tear up a little.
This seriously feels like a legacy fulfilled, and a torch passed to a new generation. It's so full of regretful parting, and yet so full of determination and resolve. No. 9 has some titanic shoes to fill.
Yasuaki Fujita would be proud. Seriously, this tune would be perfect for the end credits scene in that awesome Mega Man movie we're never gonna get to see.
I think this song was stolen on spotify by some guy named Nicholas Blache. There's a track under his name(and under his credits) that's titled "For My Family" which sounds basically 100% identical to this.
Knowing Capcom, it's probably another NES-like game. I'm not saying that's bad, but honestly, I'm wanting to see what they could do with Megaman on current generation console graphics. Not gonna say current generation gameplay because then we might get Megaman the first person shooter......Actually that sounds kinda cool.
This is the song they should play at Megaman's funeral (if he ever has one, not that he'll need it). The title says it all, passing the crown to a new generation. The later Megaman warriors will keep the original Megaman's dream alive until Armageddon.
It's alright, but what I like about passing of the blue crown, is the mix with the piano violin and the guitar, it has a very special sound. That's what I meant when i ask about a song of this style. Thanks for the link though
