Haibo Illés & Richárd Melykó: RAW (performance)
‚SPRÁVNY ČAS, SPRÁVNE MIESTO, SPRÁVNA PERFORMANCE’
Toto je motto maďarského performerského dua Illés Haibo a Richárda Melykóa, ktorí nevytvárajú len vystúpenia. Je to skutočný rodinný podnik, spolupráca medzi dizajnérom živých setov a “výbuchom”. Medzi ich hlavné oblasti odborných znalostí sú hodnotenie a hlásenie škôd.
Nedávno, vo svojom vystúpení “Drill”, predstavenom v roku 2023, preskúmali nádej mladých ľudí, ktorí sa snažia uspieť v kultúrnom sektore.
Tentoraz sa venujú neistote. Performance RAW skúma dopad zemetrasení na divadlá z teoretického hľadiska. Práca o zemetraseniach v kultúrno-politickom kontexte je situovaná medzi performatívnym využitím priestoru a prednáškovým vystúpovaním.

Predstavenie vzniklo v rámci Visegrad Artist Residency Programme s podporou Medzinárodného vyšehradského fondu. Tvorbu videa z verejných zdrojov podporil Fond na podporu umenia a Nadácia mesta Bratislavy.
‘RIGHT TIME, RIGHT PLACE, RIGHT PERFORMANCE’
This is the motto of the Hungarian based performance duo Illés Haibo and Richárd Melykó, who do not just create performances. It is a real and necessary family business, a collaboration between a live set designer and an erupter. Their main areas of expertise are damage assessment and damage reporting.
Most recently, in their performance Drill, presented in 2023, they explored the hope of young people trying to make it in the cultural sector.
This time they deal with uncertainty. In the RAW that explores the impact of earthquakes on theaters from a theoretical perspective. A work about earthquakes in a cultural-political context is situated between performative use of space and lecture performance.
The performance was created as a part of the Visegrad Artist Residency Program and supported by the International Visegrad Fund. The video is produced by A4, supported using public funding by the Slovak Art Council and Bratislava City Foundation.
