Thanks Helen and Rich, always your videos are the best to discover more about an untried ship or cruise company! Keep going forward! Hope to see again on board!
Hi guysm tbanks for posting. I was just on the Ovation the sister ship, and I was delighted by the experience. Booked another sailing this time on the Quest for April of 2024 off the Iberian coastline
@@visitwithus Have you done any of the SOuth America sailings? I was going to do a Middle East sailing next September but that plan has been pu on hold for now becuase of the latest conflict.
We have traveled on Seabourn more than any other line. We enjoy the food, atmosphere, and fellow travelers. The Retreat is silly, however. I like no photographers on board and no tickets to sign. Thanks for your always interesting videos.
Hi, I’ve binged watched lots of cruise videos. Yours are some of my faves, beautifully edited too. Gone ahead and booked Encore for end of June 2025 for 2 weeks. Very excited, thanks for all the tips 😊
What a beautiful video, so well done. We especially love your edited videos with your voice overs. After watching several of your videos (inc. SCOTLAND), we decided to subscribe today, and hit the notification bell, too. We're looking forward to many more videos to come.
Thanks. This video has brought back fond memories. One thing though, you missed our favourite outdoor space. There is a whirlpool at the front of the ship on deck 7 and hardly anyone uses it. Great spot for a quiet drink while watching the sun go down. Looking forward to your dining guide to see whether food is up to the standard of the luxury cruise lines you have reviewed recently.
Gah! You’re right. After a week of editing and checking it over and over, we completely missed out the beautiful footage we got of the front whirlpool. 😩 It’ll feature in the next video. Apologies. I only have myself to blame. 😆
Hi Rich and Helen. The ship is lovely. A cheeky friend of mine once told me "If you have to ask how much it is, then you cannot afford it !!" ha ha ha ha
I started laughing when I heard the girl singing, "There's a Kind of Hush," as I heard this one on tv. It was being sung at Ladyboi event in Thailand. (I seriously laughed out loud) Thank you for the great filming, editing, and helpful commentary.
Excuse me, Sir, did you say something about a Dining Guide? Looks about 100 steps past amazing. Love the spiral staircase. Thanks for your usual video and narration excellence.
We're going on the Seabourn Encore cruise from Istanbul to Athens at the end of May. Can you suggest any shore excursions that you felt were really great? Thanks very much!
We very much enjoyed shopping with the chef but other than the Bodrum castle tour we didn’t really do any other tours, preferring instead to explore independently. Hope you have a great cruise. Thanks for watching.
Silver Moon is one of our favourite ships so we’re sure you’ll have an amazing time in such a beautiful part of Europe. Happy cruising and thanks for watching 👍
Much prefer smaller to midsize ships such as this rather than floating cities overstuffed with people. 😉👍🏻. The exception of course for crossings on Cunard or a once in a lifetime World Cruise
This ship is gorgeous and has all the luxury that we enjoy as well. The marina deck is always fun, we had one on our Sea Dream cruise in November 2020 and also on our Celebrity Xpedition cruise in the Galapagos in June 2022. Tons of fun. I really enjoyed your ship tour and we will have to add Seabourn to our list of lines to try. Thanks for sharing.
If you want to buy things on land then yes you will. US dollars are usually excepted in most places if you don’t want to get loads of different currencies 👍 Thanks for watching 😊
Unfortunately there’s not a full promenade deck. 😕 As for enrichment, there’s plenty of ‘Seabourn Moments’ like shopping with the chef. it sure that’s enrichment though but it’s great fun. 👍😀
I was somewhat surprised to hear you talk about speciality restaurants and premium drinks, as I had always heard Seabourn was all-inclusive to the point that caviar was available every day and without extra costs ? Can you enlighten me on this, as I've been trying to compare luxury cruise companies - which is difficult enough, given that some offer free (basic) excursions, while others offer 5 complimentary restaurants and so forth.
The speciality restaurants are included but you only get one visit to Thomas Keller each voyage. You can (and should, it’s amazing) go to Sushi as much as you like. Caviar is available free of charge. Drinks are included (except very premium ones), including champagne. Excursions are not included like some lines but if you can get some on board credit (as part of a deal when you book) excursions are great thing to spend you credit on. Gratuities included. Hope this helps. Please ask if you have any other specific questions and we’ll try to answer them for you 👍 And thanks for watching 😊
Really enjoy your videos, thanks! I know the Seabourn line is ultraluxry and quite $$$. I see style and quality in their decor. But one thing I’m not feeling is opulence. I would think for that amount of money, I would be awed, not just impressed.
We haven't cruised with Seaboard for one reason: the smoking allowed situation. We'd like 100% no smoking or might consider if smoking is entirely confined to only one enclosed room and not outdoors or in any suites.. And absolutely no cigars anywhere on deck or in suites. What is the policy and how is it enforced nowadays?
Generally yes, a mix of Americans, Brits, Aussies and Europeans. Things a little different atm, post pandemic, but sure when people start to feel more confident with travel again it will return to a mix of passengers. Thanks for watching 👍
This has to be one of the most atrocious TH-cam videos I have ever seen. I told somebody about my experiences on Seabourn and when they looked it up on their own, they came across this video. As a result, they immediately assured me that they would never be caught dead on a Seabourn.
Why is this video atrocious? Why was your experience so bad? Why do you assume that just because you didn’t have a good time, this video is somehow one of the worst TH-cam videos you’ve ever seen? Curious about this.

Absolutely beautiful thank you! Sailing on her in March can’t wait!
Thank you ☺️
Hope you have a fabulous cruise ❤️
Thanks for the glorious memories. Unfortunatelty I can't thank you for revealing the deck 5 pool, it was our private pool until....NOW!!
Yes I agree. Great views and lots of shade. Very Quiet
Haha, sorry about that 😆
We did keep the one at the front of deck 7 a secret though (oh until now 😆)
Thanks for watching 👍
rude. calm down
@@Escape628 It was actually a joke from 2 years ago, and recognisedas such by Rich and Helen at the time.....

That would be nice.

Wonderful. We love the Quest, a smaller more intimate ship ❤️
Have a great cruise and thanks for watching 👍

The Retreat is a beautiful area but just seems way too much extra to pay when the rest of the ship is so nice!

The opposite is true.
We always have to ask 😂

A quick look online shows they're £450-500 per person per night as of October 2024

So… Seabourn or Silversea?? Which do you prefer? We are booked on Silver Moon for May 2023 - Venice to Rome, so I’m curious since you’ve been on both!
Silver Moon is one of our favourite ships so we’re sure you’ll have an amazing time in such a beautiful part of Europe.
Happy cruising and thanks for watching 👍
Looks so much better than the silver sea I am booked on in may. Should have listened to you.
Silversea is great too. What ship are you booked onto?
Oh to be 20 years younger and work on a cruise ship!
Lovely 😊

Good morning we are cruising Asia starting in Singapore with Seaborne. Will we need local currency for each country?

Stunning boat
She sure is. 😍
I need this kind of luxury in my life❤️🥰🤣
It is essential. 😆
We're booked next September. Is there a full promenade deck? Is there an enrichment programme beyond just port talks? Thanks.
