I always have a weird wrap around my non throw hand index finger when i do the part at 1:40 and when i unwrap it, i am in the mount he is in but my yoyo hand is in the wrong direction.

We do not. They are priced that way because they cannot compete. They tend to be made with inexpensive parts that quickly break down, and on the whole are very poorly designed. If we thought they were worth buying we would carry them, like we do the Skyva.
Some of the newer MagicYoYo throws are very good for the price! The older N12 is a super great metal beater yoyo for around $10. And the more expensive $45-70ish throws like the Carpfin, Stealth, Katana, and the new C3yoyodesign X MagicYoYo Vapormotion are amazing for the price. The Stealth and Katana are super awesome bi-metals.

It was one of the standard ways of changing string tension. Yotricks has a tutorial on it, and Evan is basically doing what Adam does in that tutorial, he's just holding the yoyo a different way.

I currently have a Onedrop terrarian, vanguard, guantlet, marquis, YoyoFactory shutter, and horizon. What do you guys recommend?

Also, there's some editing being done between shots in this video, but most of it is just that Evan has a really good throw and a really excellent yoyo.
Well, Evan, as with everyone who gets to be on yotricks, has mastered the throw so that helps. Also, he's using a yoyo with extremely long spin times so that helps too.

If you don't know what kind of lube, then the lube is definitely the problem.You should only use yoyo specific lube on yoyos, or else it will cause the problem you described.

Yoyo Officer makes tons of yoyos. In general we greatly prefer them to Magic yoyos, which we generally do not recommend.
