Bulgarian here. My wife is doing exactly the same argument fight in such situation. Word by word. She has sometimes done it by skype when we were 10000 km separated and she smelled from there I got out with a female to drink a beer. It's one of the best stews in the world when it's made right, but it's bottom of the barrel when it's anything less than perfect. XD Shkembe corba with yogurt, but no garlic? She must've really wanted to pay him back for keeping that girl's phone number.

From my personal experience as a real man with good taste for women I can confirm... The most beautiful women are from Bulgaria, Ukraine, Russia and Moldova. They are really top of the range, very feminine and sexy. After them I may put the women from Romania, Slovakia, The Nordic countries and Latin America, especially those from Venezuela and Columbia.

You got one thing wrong here though, *style wise* ... Yes, women do like to dress up, cause being presentable is very important. But fake tan is not really popular with Bulgarians now. I think it was more popular in the 2000s. Like, many want to be tanner but many of us just can't. We consider you lucky if you get tanned and we will most likely def compliment you on it. When I went to Greece in the early months of summer I was a glowing disco ball blinding the people passing by. And I returned absolutely the same, but with bee stung like burns on my swollen feet.. XD

One of the most interesting women I ever knew was a Bulgarian immigrant. She was a Marine officer, Harley motorcyclist, marathon runner and overall badass. She was also gorgeous, feminine, stylish and sweet and caring as could be underneath an initially gruff exterior. We were good friends for a while until her career inevitably took her overseas and we still stay in touch. She often said she was just a typical Bulgarian, tough as nails on the outside but soft as a kitty on the inside. :)

Speaking as a bulgarian woman i can honestly say i have never seen anything so wildly exaggerated in my life. The only details in the vidoe close to the truth are that we love yogurt, we are passionate BUT not crazy. And we don't care ONLY about our appearance. I mean that part was even offensive to bulgarian women, especially the first example. Anyway transiting incorrect stereotypes must be these people's most important activity so no judgement. But i do hope no one buys that nonsense. Every person is different, you can't cheat your way into getting to know them based on where they come from without giving them a chance.
I dated a Bulgarian woman for a couple of years and nearly everything in this video is true, apart from the humour. Bulgarian women treat you like they are your mother and owner. I found this video very funny. The sort of humour you find in telling the story of how you nearly died once. Well done.
The the interrogation and rant part is very accurate, been through that lol 😅 However, I've noticed some things, that don't look accurate - first, the scenery makes me think the entire video was actually not shot in Bulgaria. The apartment doesn't look like in Bulgaria. Also, no sane person puts yogurt on Shkembe corba (Dragon Breath as you translate it - which is a label, not really a translation). We use vinegar with garlic on this soup and this is the norm. Also, the girl doesn't look like most women here. She is obviously going on solarium regularly - most people don't. And the guy who came to fix the light - looks like Russian, not like Bulgarian.

I am a Bulgarian and I have never expected any Bulgarian woman "to look their best no matter the occasion", I don't even remember any such talks between the Bulgarian men. Bulgarian here. My wife is doing exactly the same argument fight in such situation. Word by word. She has sometimes done it by skype when we were 10000 km separated and she smelled from there I got out with a female to drink a beer. As an American who lived in Bulgaria for two and a half years, I DIED when she made him shkembe chorba as a hangover cure. It's one of the best stews in the world when it's made right, but it's bottom of the barrel when it's anything less than perfect. XD Shkembe corba with yogurt, but no garlic? She must've really wanted to pay him back for keeping that girl's phone number.

The most beautiful women are from Bulgaria, Ukraine, Russia and Moldova. They are really top of the range, very feminine and sexy.

You got one thing wrong here though, *style wise* ... Yes, women do like to dress up, cause being presentable is very important. But fake tan is not really popular with Bulgarians now. I think it was more popular in the 2000s. Like, many want to be tanner but many of us just can't. We consider you lucky if you get tanned and we will most likely def compliment you on it. When I went to Greece in the early months of summer I was a glowing disco ball blinding the people passing by. And I returned absolutely the same, but with bee stung like burns on my swollen feet.. One of the most interesting women I ever knew was a Bulgarian immigrant. She was a Marine officer, Harley motorcyclist, marathon runner and overall badass. She was also gorgeous, feminine, stylish and sweet and caring as could be underneath an initially gruff exterior. We were good friends for a while until her career inevitably took her overseas and we still stay in touch. She often said she was just a typical Bulgarian, tough as nails on the outside but soft as a kitty on the inside. :)

Speaking as a bulgarian woman i can honestly say i have never seen anything so wildly exaggerated in my life. The only details in the vidoe close to the truth are that we love yogurt, we are passionate BUT not crazy. And we don't care ONLY about our appearance. I mean that part was even offensive to bulgarian women, especially the first example. Anyway transiting incorrect stereotypes must be these people's most important activity so no judgement. But i do hope no one buys that nonsense. Every person is different, you can't cheat your way into getting to know them based on where they come from without giving them a chance.
I dated a Bulgarian woman for a couple of years and nearly everything in this video is true, apart from the humour. Bulgarian women treat you like they are your mother and owner. I found this video very funny. The sort of humour you find in telling the story of how you nearly died once. Well done.

The the interrogation and rant part is very accurate, been through that lol 😅 However, I've noticed some things, that don't look accurate - first, the scenery makes me think the entire video was actually not shot in Bulgaria. The apartment doesn't look like in Bulgaria. Also, no sane person puts yogurt on Shkembe corba (Dragon Breath as you translate it - which is a label, not really a translation). We use vinegar with garlic on this soup and this is the norm.
Also, the girl doesn't look like most women here. She is obviously going on solarium regularly - most people don't.
And the guy who came to fix the light - looks like Russian, not like Bulgarian.
They rarely shoot the clips on location, it'd be too expensive.

I am a Bulgarian and I have never expected any Bulgarian woman "to look their best no matter the occasion", I don't even remember any such talks between the Bulgarian men. I'm not sure where this expectation comes from. It might be a women thing, that has nothing to do with the men's wishes but with the women's perception about what's important to the men.
