I was first introduced to this song way back when the game Ripper came out. I could never get this tune out of my head, I just loved that intro main riff. So today, I've decided to make a cover of this song, dedicating it to the one and only Christopher Walken!
Tuning is Std E
Not a very difficult song at all and this took me about one full day to learn and make a video. The solo is really the tricky bit in this entire song and it almost feels as if the timing for it is kinda off and random.
None the less, its one hell of a fun jam to play so...

I clicked on this entirely for the solo, and you nailed it, but it just somehow didn't seem as intense as the original. Not dissing, this is a good cover all around.
The original sounded like there was hardly any noise gate and maybe a compressor put on. That is why it sounded more intense. Also the treble was a lot more than this.
@@daryl0063 Definately use a compressor to cop that tone. Buck used a ES175 (bridge pickup) for most of the song into a Music Man 410-65, a plate reverb and whatever tape delay the studio had. The solo was his SG into the same Music Man cranked up. I use a Roland RE-20 Space Echo to kinda do the same thing but its not exact.
@@uriahroseii1026 I do like hearing people's setup when they play covers. I love when the cover song isn't exact and the musician puts in what they want and they let themselves go in cover songs. Sounds more personal.

I use to play this in a band when it first came out and probably most of it was wrong. The recording DAW I use is called the Reaper I hope you don't mine if I borrow your video. I also bought the tabs through guitar pro 8

I mean, not necessarily. I'm 12, and I grew up with this music because it would come on radio stations or my parents would play this music.
If you listen to classic rock radio you’ve probly heard Godzilla, Burning for You, and Cities on flame with rock and roll.

My dad raised me on rock and metal hahaha 22 now and I mostly listen to old stuff, mostly things my dad showed me when I was a little kid. Meanwhile mom was mostly listening to Abba. Not bad, but not nearly as good as stuff like this.
