I can remember I watched your famous riff video a while back! I was just listening to the song and wanted to see if anyone finally had a full tutorial of this classic, and I am so happy that it was you that uploaded this because you taught me this riff!
One thing I’ve noticed that differentiates him from other TH-cam lessons is that he goes over the exact placement of fingers. He won’t just say “use f power chord here and cadd9 here” so if you don’t know the chords, you can still learn and practice the songs. I specifically watch his lessons for this reason.

My dumbass was trying to learn Black Dog 1 month in and I mean I got the notes, but that's about it lol. Now, 5 months in, I've been able to follow your videos more and more. I've been practicing Ten Years Gone by Led Zeppelin and you go really in depth with that. I've got most of the intro down, it's just transitioning to some of the chords I've never played is hard, but I'm definitely getting better. So far with this video, I'm 3:51 and I can do that perfectly. This song is really fun, so I can't wait to learn a lot of thus song. Also, could you do Cities On Flame With Rock and Roll by them and Stranglehold by Ted Nugent. I will keep watching you all the time, you are the best teacher on TH-cam.

I remember first discovering this track on a random classic rock compilation cd I had in the late 90's, and must have played it on repeat a dozen times as I drifted off to sleep. For some reason it became my favourite song, and I embarrassingly have the last verse tattooed on my side 🥴 I learnt this a while back, but it's great to get a refresher on the fill section and of course the solo. Thanks Carl, perhaps Godzilla's in the cards...?!

@@tommilitello198 Buck Dharma has a video lesson of the riff on his web site. He says he alternate picks the riff because otherwise he can get lost.
