solido has massively improved in terms of their model catalogue over the past few years. what used to be a manufacturer mostly old making vintage volkswagens and citroens has now entered the supercar market with some great offerings. unfortunately they still have some problems getting the butterfly doors of the mclaren to stay up. other budget manufacturers like maisto do not have this issue with their lamborghinis and mercedes sls amg, for example.

I ran into a guy and his wife stopping for a coffee with his 2020 Nissan GTR. He had just picked up his wife's GT500. It was amazing seeing both cars in person. He was going to pay $1200 to have the white racing stripes removed since you can't buy a GT500 without them. Excellent review of Solido. You always do a great job

I've never heard of that brand before, they remind me a lot of the maisto 1/18 scale and 1/24 scale diecast models, I love the white CLA AMG, have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and keep up the amazing work😷👍

I have some aircooled Volkswagens made by Solido and I think it's a brand with good value for money.
P.S.: the Fiat 500 is not an L but an F, the basic version and you can figure it out because the bumpers, the steering wheel and the dashboard are different

Nice models and opening features are really fun in 1/18 scale cars :)
I have two older Solido models, one is indeed 1/18 scale, but it's motorbike, a Honda CB 750 with a "Joe Bar" figurine. Got this in 2009. Another model is 1/43 scale Fiat Ritmo from the 1980's, my childhood toycar, still in fairly ok condition, I even still have the very 80's looking box too, which is quite fun to have now, as most of them were thrown away :)
