I'm female and get in trouble trying to collect as many what I consider nice 1/64 vehicles for my son. I'm picky as well. I don't like the funny crazy goofy cars. Only the ones that are real. I also loooove Trucks. I have hard time find trucks though. I love them. Only thing I let him have them all to play with. He takes all our of the box. I guess that's okay. I love them. I love to see them.

Everyoneee hated the “fantasy” castings. Those are the ones primarily for very young children and they always end up being peg warmers. I can’t imagine why hot wheels produces SO many of them knowing they will just remain on the shelves and rot, taking up the space that could be used for new stock of actually desirable castings. Hot wheels obviously doesn’t do it for _no reason,_ but I can’t fathom what that reason might be.

As a kid, I used to play with hotwheels all the time. Opening them I feel like it completes that nostalgia factor of wanting to play with them. Just recently I started collecting them again. I just got myself a Porsche Hotwheels Premium Collectors car and I have to say, I actually enjoy the car more when it is outside of its packaging. It feels real nice in the hands and it reminds me of Akira Nakai when he decided to modify Porsche. Sure they are nice cars when stock but you get more attached to the car when you make it your own and that is what it feels like to open a hotwheel you really enjoy. You make it yours!

Kept mine all boxed ain’t much fun though hah all my old childhood ones still are open and used and still not worth much even though are 30 plus years old so maybe should open my new ones

Schuco Porsche models have indeed great details and build quality. HOWEVER, most of times Schuco have low accuracy in achieving the shapes and proportions of the real life cars, which is an extremely important aspect, especially when Shuco charge premium prices for their models. One example of Schuco failing big time to achieve resemblance to the real life car is with the Porsche 356 Gmund Convertible model, which looks like a different car compared to the original. On the other hand, although Solido have a bit less details and build quality, they are very close to the real cars in terms of shape and proportions, which gets a big like from my end.

Hi. I am a big fan and inspired by you I also decided to mount my hotwheels on shadow box frames. So I was hoping if I could ask you for help with a problem I am facing, I am trying to stick the car to the acrylic transparent glass on the frame, I tried an industrial strength glue stick (yellow) but it works sometimes and sometimes the car just falls off. Double-side tape is not always thick enough. So what should I do something solid and last always. I am stuck, really need advice. Thanks for your help

I just ordered my first mini gt ...a Lamborghini Aventador silhouette green variant mini gt ....just wanted to know if they are sturdy enough just to keep it in my pockets while going out like my hot wheels, not any rough use but just carrying it around all day long
