@@berdinaction ok to the game's credit there are a few that are actually kinda good like speed jungle's songs and sand sanctuary
i suppose I'm just not fond of the sonic 4-esque weird genesis-type instruments they used for most of the ost.
@@berdinaction Hater =/= not enjoying certain songs on the OST. It's pretty common knowledge that the consensus was that Superstars had decent music but suffered from too many cooks in the kitchen and Jun's music being sub-par compared to his previous work

Honestly, I wished that Act Sonic would've been a proper act with only 2/3th's being a regular stage with no interruption, while the final part being the Fang Chase Sequence.

honestly a lot of Jun’s songs are perfect for remix, since the composition is actually really good most of the time. it’s the instrumentation that’s usually lacking. in this song’s case, it had hardly any instruments and a short loop

I’m so glad that this turned out the way it did as up til this point, I hadn’t found a version of Fang’s theme from Superstars I genuinely loved, but you JX have surpassed my expectations. Nice Sonic 3 and Knuckles style Sega Genesis cover of the song, and nice using the full melody of the original Triple Trouble version of the song, and as well as the instrumentation and letmotif of the Sonic and Knuckles Miniboss theme, and this version of the song sounds so way better than the Superstar version!😄🤩😎👌

Then listening to it again, a few hours later, the original Triple Trouble part sounded off key but a day later, now I’m wearing headphones and it sounds completely fine and how it’s supposed to.
