- The Arthur Shelby Peaky Blinders haircut is a high zero on back & sides with an undercut. To go for a more modern less harsh look have the zero around half way up the head and add a fade the rest of the way up. This haircut will best suit straight hair.

Im a barber and i hate to say it but that looks like shit.. You can even see the barber trying to convince himself and the customer that he cut it right with all different explanations when in reality he took way too much off especially from the back

I'll start by saying the original haircut looks like shit to begin with. But yeah, Arthur's top hair is longer. I think he had it the right length at the start. Though, it seemed to be the customer wanted it shorter.
Yeah Arthur's haircut looks like shit. Without the cameras and lighting and makeup department and angles your just gonna look like a dickhead 99% of the time.
As the actors said it themselves, the haircut is in fact supposed to look stupid and all of them agree on that. None of them enjoyed having their hair cut that way.
100% took too much off, u can see in the show that Arthur has a little bit of length of the sides for the long hair on top to sit on so it doesn’t all just hang down, real shame because this guy could’ve looked great if the barber did it correctly.

Regal Gentleman didn't mind the music to be honest, I'm now convinced that I am the hunter.
For anyone that is curious, everyone wears fades in peaky blinders because it was the most practical haircut to avoid lices. In war you couldn't avoid them if you had a head full of hair so having short and faded hair could fix that.
I find this kind of music horrendous... I think you can improve your video's if you'd use something more traditional.
What do you consider as traditional, my friend?
In one of your previous videos you've used "MC Cullah - A Place I Know" which is a lot better I think. It's stimulating but keeps the focus on the video. It's not a "banger" but it's suitable for a larger audience. It's subtle.
Gonna be honest, one of the few TH-cam vids that I thought got the music right. Never would listen to the song otherwise but worked for the vid

You absolutely ruined his hair, that little blob on the back of his head is way too high, same with the sides. Arthur’s hair wasn’t a disconnected cut....but ya It looks fine because you combed the long hairs over the mess

Agreed. Also, I was cringing a little bit watching how he quite ignored the elevation he was holding the hair at to cut the straight line in the back. With that elevation if he didn't wear it slicked down all the time the hair would flip. Very important for that clean, straight line. That short undercut stuff really should never have come off. You can see it right through his thin, oiled up hair.

Honestly it's been his cut the whole time. This is the beginning of the correct hair growing on the back of his head. It's gonna be a while before it grows out. But it's the right thing to do..

I go from long hair to a really pronoced cut and style quite a bit..I don't go every 6 weeks more like once or twice a year and I think its nice to get a really savage cut after having long hair for a while...I'd say do it but talk to the barber about what you really want and don't want...i find helps to be friendly and tip well if they get it right!

Good work, it’s an old traditional haircut popular amongst militaries. It’s very old, it comes from the 17th century when it was very popular amongst Polish nobility and Cossacks. This fringe falls to the right, left or backwards. It looks nice with beard or moustache.
Even older than that mate European populations have always favoured shaved back and sides long on top. Even William the conqueror did it.

Ended up being a disconnect/undercut - what was the point of all that effort, and cutting that at the back? Think how it began, and how it wound up were a disconnect.
I think it's a killer cut. The client seemed to be happy with it and so therefore was not too short or high on the back.

i know he asked for a 0 up to the line but you should of showed him what 1 or even a half on the sides looked like first... I don't agree with how you did the back imp only young and have only been cutting hair coming up a year but you need to work with the concave of your clients headshake, you cut it too short personally on top, the hair should of been able to follow the curve of the head from the apex to the occipital bone.
