@Mordechai Sage Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
People who don't understand this haircut haven't watched Peaky Blinders. Don't blame the guy if he has thin hair, you don't understand the compulsion to have Thomas Shelby's haircut.
Let's be honest there though mate, this guy's head shape is nowhere near the same as Tommy's and it wouldn't look the same at all. I've asked barbers for things in the past and gotten something completely different, but I realise now it's because the photos I was showing them looked nothing like my head shape
He's a barber, not a miracle worker....Dude's hair is thinning, Cillian's got thick, robust locks....You can't do anything with what that dude had left lol
Yea lol. He was like this is what I want. And then the barber was like aight well I’m gonna give you a tapered mid fade because yea that’s what imma do…lmao 😂
To be fair the guy didnt have the hair to actually be able to rock Sheldy's hair. That's just the way it is. You cant ask to have Neo's hair from the Matrix if you have your corners have receded. Thats just the sad truth.
@@TimGamerHD short 2 block is more of a harder difference between the bulk of the hair on top and the rest of the hair on the sides and back. A fade tapers the length from longer to going shorter as you go down the sides and the back.
I don’t think the barber did that on purpose, I just think the client didn’t have enough hair in order to achieve the desired style. This was probably the best he could do with the length he was given
Not just that. The client looks nothing like Cillian Murphy. It's insane people thinking they can pull off edgy hairstyles worn by people who have model looks with completely different facial structure along with hair density and thickness

I'll never understand why barbers never give you the cut you ask for even with pictures as a template. I don't care if you're trying to play it safe, I don't care if my head shape is different. I'm paying you as a customer for something specific so do it! If it comes out looking messed up then I'll take full responsibility for my decision to get that cut in the first place!
It's just an excuse they use because they aren't that great at their job. And because i was so tired of those excuses when i asked for similar cuts such as these, i stopped going to the barber about 6 years ago and started cutting my own hair. I can literally do the haircut they never could, and it isn't hard. Funnily enough, the excuse was that my head didn't really fit what i wanted and my hair was thinner than usual. B.S excuse for unskilled barbers. I look exactly how i want to now and don't pay a dime over free. I have a couple pictures of my last cut too.
"Last time I had my haircut I asked them not to take anything off the top really.. and they took way too much." "Right ok so they just didn't listen to what your saying." "Pretty much yea." 😂
One thing I absolutely hate is when you show the hairdressers a harsh style And then they dull it down because they personally don’t think it’s appropriate or that that they don’t like it “Let’s do a modern twist “ “It’s still the look you were going for , just not as harsh “ How about you fuck off , do what I want for MY hair . You get paid to give the customer what they want not to treat me as a bloody experiment or one of your playthings Had to vent this , the line at the end about it “being not as harsh but still what you were going for “ Pissed me off a bit Good video tho !
Part of it is because everyone's hair is different and just because you want a specific hairstyle, doesnt mean your hair will he able to do that exact look
I'm so glad it's not just me who noticed that about styling powder! I love what it does to my hair, but my scalp gets all sorts of messed up if I don't was it out right away. I'll definitely try a sea salt spray now
These two really knew how to communicate to each other. The client really knew what he wanted and how to express it in barber terms. I thought that was awesome. I don't know if I'd ever be able to be that precise. What I also thought was interesting was that Mahesh gave the best promotion of ending "Scent Confusion" that I've ever heard but then proceeded to put Old Money Styling Balm on top of 4 Vices Sea Salt Spray. Can someone help me out here? Am I missing something?
I really don't understand why Mahesh is point cutting so deep into the hair... With this haircut you want the hair on top to be heavy, so no point cutting on this kind of thin hair! See from yourself, compare the before and the after, he definitely lost volume which is so important for this haircut
i really like doing texturizing/thinning shears over comb when removing weight and creating a smooth transition from where the clippers have faded up and the top hair is. i wouldnt do this at his crown, rather i would slice through it w my shears, creating texture, removing weight and for this client, riding him of the undesired outward growth. i cant recall seeing either of these techniques done on this channel (from what ive watched), or other barbers use. anyone enjoy these techniques orif you havent tried before is it something that intrigues you? it really is great, the slicing creates a beautiful texture and the texturing shear over comb really removes unwanted weight while achieving a very nice softness!
With the amount of hair this guy had all the barber had to do was clip up and only blend the back a little. I stopped going to barbers 12 years ago. I cut it myself. Especially with this kind of cut. It’s so easy. The worst feeling is walking out of a barber unhappy and still having to pay them, and tipping on top of that. Then having to see yourself with something you didn’t want until it grows out enough to do it all over again. Every time I asked a barber or hair stylist to leave the top alone, they cut it, and way to short at that. Once I started cutting it myself I learned what works with my head shape. I get there’s some kind of blending technique they learned at barbershop school but the problem is the barber can’t read your mind and you know exactly what you want it to look like; which is probably messy as fuck, but they’re just doing what they learned to do in their training and end up doing too much of it. Word of advice: do less. Unless they ask to cut more. At that point it’s their fault for asking.
I understand your feelings very well !! I have been cutting my hairs at home since lockdown and now I don't feel to go at barber any (i had same experiences as yours , many times actually) , but still i can't cut the hairs at the back of my head and it is the only thing that sucks !! Yep thought the same. Not high enough at the back and sides and shouldnt have left the front long and wispy. Id have just textured the ends on top not gone deep.
It's a great cut. More modern and precise. The model has bone str8 hair, it's fine & flyaway. very different texture from Shelby's but it still looked great on him
