Well said. I was in the US military. Everybody wears their backpacks with two straps here. Nothing juvenile about it.
Yeah, I have a bend in my spine from carrying a heavy school bag on one shoulder.
Also I carry my work laptop and glasses in my bag, when you one shoulder you run the risk of smacking into random shit, who does that?

As an American, I don’t know the host blokes & don’t feel like I’m missing out. Phill and Holly would have giggled along and not be stiff and paralyzed with fear. I really love TARP.
Good for you double strapping your backpack. It's quite bad for your back to use a single strap. Didn't know it was a odd thing to double strap in Australia. It was a fad as a kid in America but as we got more books to carry it was necessary to use both and the trend faded. It was a kid thing here to single strap back in my day.
Backpacks are the superior form of bag! Ryan is obviously an intelligent man for using one, correctly.

Hilarious! The backpack thing though! It's super convenient to travel with a backpack, and they're usually HEAVY (I generally have 2 laptops), so wearing only on 1 shoulder means back pain and lopsided walking. Nope, we GREW UP, so now we wear our backpacks correctly!!!
Ryan, I’m 44 and I still use both straps on the backpack. If they didn’t want you to use both of them, they shouldn’t have put two straps on it. 5:12

I also stand up when the plane lands. As a tall guy, there is nothing worse than having your legs bend every which way for hours on end. Standing up for a while is bliss.

48f wear my backpack, double strapped every day to work. Every day there are mean high school girls on the opposite platform of the train station, pointing and laughing, ridiculing my choice.

Pippa is a human name I’ve heard before, the news that it means something different in Swedish and Polish is funny to think about how someone with that name finds out though. Imagine you’re just entering a country and the person checking your passport is desperately trying to hold in their laughter to be polite and you don’t know why. Everyone’s passport photos look terrible, so they’d probably assume that was the reason until later. By that point it’s happened several times before someone finally explains. At that point if it were me I’d just go back home lol

That was awkward to watch the male talk show host made it all awkward with the mention of porn and he never recovered from that then at the end tried to deflect by pointing out your backpack I am a fellow backpack wearer and I was like that's was lame for him to do that to you Ryan like ew come on guy grow up.
