You should be able to defeat the chime with the same procedure as all the 2017+ super duties. I know i turn mine off. When im driving around my land i dont put a seat belt on
In regards to steering i bet you have electric powersteering and this truck has normal hydraulic power steering. Thanks for the detailed look, very cool.
Said it once, and I'll say it again. Love the dually fenders Ford has been putting on their DRW pickups for the past few years or so. Have that OBS style to them.
Lot of talk about hose. Whenever I hear the word "hose," I ALWAYS ask "where the hose at?" My wife loves it. Not really. Don't start doing it. You can't stop.
I absolutely love my 23 HO 450. Steering #1 4.30 gears #2 engine brake works way better #3 rides amazing #4 max recline seats super comfortable #5. Could keep going 😂
Not sure if they did, just heard rumors. I have the same truck and a was just curious if I have the same 10R140 or something different being it’s a man HO
Sweet job security for you. It's gonna take 8 billable hours and $1000 invoice just to change an upper rad hose...I'll stick with my new (7.3) F350. It's enough to pull a 16K lb 5th wheel.
Ordered a lariat F250 regular 6.7, originally scheduled to be built end of May now, late July not sure what changed, still excited but man that Cat is huge!!!
Catalyst looks like a closed couple DOC with an SCR directly behind it and the DPF trailing behind. Now, what I think we are seeing may be dual SCR or dual DOC. This has my attention big time because I’ve only heard of such things for the later 2027 emission requirements. Definitely need to see one in person and look ASAP.
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod interesting. It does make sense to have the added cooling on the actuator when you deal with high load over time. Still need to get one of these new catalyst systems in front of me ASAP. Very intriguing system.
2 quick questions. My neighbor took delivery of his 2023 f250 tremor 7.3 😢 about 2 weeks ago. 1- his truck did not come with an AGM battery. I thought all 2023 trucks came with an AGM battery? 2- he did not get a hitch adapter/sleeve with his truck. The truck should come with one or am I wrong?
Are you sure it's a diesel injector, or are they double dosing def? Seems everyone in the class 8 world is getting away from the extra fuel injector in the exhaust. Great video!
Fuel injection in the exhaust of class 8 trucks has been gone for quite some time. EGR use is almost zero and it is entirely handled by DEF/SCR scrubbing the NoX very effectively in one box units
So far it looks good and can’t wait too drive one . Man you got 3ft of emissions what a headache anyway I do like the grill in that one . All others i don’t care for they just don’t look menacing enough should look mean and tuff .
I have my new 450 but is bad already, the seventh pin on the bed is not working and some sensors for the traction control is bad right now is at service for manufacture warranty is only 500 miles …
I was a new car porter right out of high school. And my question is...did they drive that truck down every backroad possible to get it that dirty??? It's a beauty someone is going to enjoy it!
Ordered a Lariat F350 drw back in February with the standard output 6.7. Haven’t heard anything at all about when it might be built. I’m interested in how much heavier the ho version is over the standard output.
You can change the older(17-20 I believe?) steering wheel to a f150 Raptor(paddle shifter) steering wheel if it has the manual gear shift(+/-) trans buttons on the shifter. Not 100% sure if it was 6 or 10 speed, but saw video on @ColtsWay Yt channel tho. If its possible, someone will try\do it on these new ones. Lol
Beautiful truck but man i can't help but think how well would it hold up here in the rust belt. Looks like a lot of things underneath it that could be an issue with road salt.
I've seen two new HO 6.7's on the road locally. Man, I can't imagine trying to work on those trucks. I wouldn't be able to get my big paws into many tight places. Your service shop is frickin huge. Thanks for the video bud!
Ordered an HO Platinum, my worry is I keep seeing videos with trans temps on these 2023's over 200 degrees. What do the Fords trannys run for temp, because anything over 190 in my book is cooking. My 2011 Silverado runs high 160 degrees towing 14k, This will be my replacement, but that temp scares me, or is it break in hot.
I absolutely LOVE Ford TRUCKS!!

I pick p my 2023 F450 XLT HO antimatter blue on tuesday!! Pretty much the same truck. Thanks for the walk down!
Congrats

I need to find the clean shop like that in my town. What is the name of this shop and location?
The f450 appears to have hydroboost. My f250 6.7 has vacuum brakes. Have f450’s maintained hydroboost besides this new model year!?
Whats up with that fast ass space X garage door. 3...2...1..
Its badass is what it is
That thing is a beauty!!
Ordered a 450 Lariat with the 6.7HO, was delivered today, picking it up tomorrow morning
Someones excited 🤌
I would sure rather pay a little extra for DEF than to have ANY EGR.
Lot of talk about hose.

🤌🤌😜😜
6.7 is the best engine, I think it’s better than Old 7.3 Diesel.
I have 205,000 miles mostly towing a 32’ trailer.
I agree
Yeah baby! SMOOTH!!🎉
That truck has more plumbing than my house! I’ll keep my 2021 7.3! That front end has a face only a mother can love ! 😂😳
After watching a neighbor switch from Ford to GM because Ford could repair his truck.🤣🤣
Wooow I love that truck so beautiful
Awesome video, an amazing beast!
Sweet ride right there!!

So what trans is in the HO? 10R140 or 10R180?
When did they come out with a 10R180?
Not sure if they did, just heard rumors. I have the same truck and a was just curious if I have the same 10R140 or something different being it’s a man HO
10r140 from 2020 to current

I ordered a regular 6.7 for my F-450.
Half the truck is hoses, tubes and wire.
Getting rid of post injection is a big deal. That killed many 6.4s.
But every Cummins uses it and those engines live long lives. A lot of small diesel construction and ag equipment uses the same.
2023 F350 Lariat 6.7 HO here. Shipped and expecting delivery end of month.
That HO with all them hoses and wires got me skeerd might just go with regular 6.7
Holy mother of exhaust
Easter was over a month ago……. I guess he just forgot to post this vidga.
Truck is a beast 👍👍
Holy crap The underhood shot looks like a complete nightmare to work on of hoses every direction
So what is the difference that's creating the extra HP? Turbo & injectors? Tuning?
I believe it has a bigger turbo and is probably tuned a little more to accommodate the added airflow of the larger Turbo.
Turbo tune different charge pipes..ccv

What is that system/sensor you drove over entering the shop? Was it scanning the truck?
Yepp, checks the alignment....crazy right
That’s actually pretty cool, how precise is it? Will it tell you how far out of alignment? Or will it just give you a generic “needs alignment”?
That & even tire tread depth🤯🤯
Yeah discount tire is using them for tread depth now. Wild
That’s really nice wish I had one
