I'm hoping for a boss fight with Tseng at some point in the series too. This was one of the things that irked me in the original was no fight with Tseng, I mean he's supposed to be this formidable commander of the Turks but all we see is him either mocking you or getting his arse handed to him by Sephiroth. I'm curious as to what weapon he'll use as well. From what I saw in both BC and CC he uses a standard handgun but it would be nice if they changed his weapon to something a bit more unique. I have to say though, I don't like what they have done with his character arc in this first part. He comes across as really unsympathetic especially in regards to the sector 7 plate. I feel like this has undone his character development that we saw in the compilation games where although he came across as cool-headed, he was also kind and sympathetic.
@@xXMuseFan1996Xx In one of the compilations, I believe one of the novels it says that the job really changed him, that he did grow much colder the longer he was in the Turks. Though I wonder if he is just like aerith and Sephiroth.. cause he can see the whispers but he says nothing.

In CC, he was quite close to Zack and really helped him out a lot when it comes to his Zack’s relationship with Aerith and don’t forget he also tried to save Zack. Tseng also cares for his men. It’s just the job that makes him seemed so cold. In actuality, he and all the Turks are kind of neutral. They’re neither good nor bad.
As Rude said, they aren't bad. They just do bad things. Reno's definitely a badass, though, as he showed absolutely no hesitation in fighting Cloud and the gang on his own.
@@annamarielee3 Even Reno had doubts a few times. That shows that he is not wrong...The Turks are not bad people in themselves. You always have to remember that President Shinra's order came. If they hadn't done it, someone else would have. I mean,
Who's to say Tseng doesn't like Rufus? 👀
*gay panic*
Lmao good one
Great compilation, but you left out two awesome parts of the Rude fight: Where he screams "Sh*t!" when you stagger him and when Cloud breaks his shades and he pulls out a fresh pair from his pocket. 😆
Tseng need to fight on future sequels of FF7R he is surely really strong
No, definitly not. The leader of the Turks is not fighting. He does organizational and paperwork. Reno and Rude are the ones who can fight.
@@carinaramlow2660 all can change in this remake this is all a reimagination of FF7 we will see
Okay but I love the fact that Rufus is being added into the mystery of the whispers and the fate stuff. It’s interesting to see the obvious Sephiroth and Aerith being involved but when I realized that Rufus could see them too made me jaw drop. I remember seeing Rufus watching the whispers in the cutscene followed by Tseng watching Rufus watch ‘air’ was really cool to me. I definitely think Rufus will be a way more vital character in the series(perhaps he will even be in the final party??)
At 42:10 it seems that Rufus can see the fate ghosts but Tseng can't. Does this mean Rufus's future will be changed at some point, but not Tsengs?
why is he able to see them though
@@fannyd9141 I think it has to do with the fact that rufus fought with cloud, who couldn't see those whispers until aerith touched him, whereas tseng hasn't had any physical contact with any of the characters who can see those things. Maybe that's why he didn't slap aerith in this version... For plot purposes
@@Anita-fw8jr ohh makes sense, thanks
@Al Dente LOL
@@Anita-fw8jr omg the moment the no slap gets a very very deep plot purpose. Like. Ok, seeing it as a symbol of things being different this time, yeah. But this is deep and I love it.
Really hope we get a Tseng boss in the Remake series.
I wonder what his weapon of choice is. I'd be fine if it was just a handgun even. (Didn't see much of BC, so wouldn't know if he fights in it.)
@@Zeracheil They still could've made him feel some guilt over the sector 7 plate though. What he said about it was extremely fucked up and has kind of made me dislike him. I mean Reno and Rude were pretty cold in the OG but they changed their personalities a bit in the remake to show that they regret what they did, why couldn't the same be done for Tseng? As for the whisper things, I think everybody could see them at that point.
@@Zeracheil He can't see the whispers. You can see in the scene with him and Rufus that Rufus can see them and then we switch to Tseng's perspective and there's nothing in sight. And he asks Rufus if he's alright, cus Rufus is standing there staring at seemingly nothing.
@@xXMuseFan1996Xx i cant wait for a boss fight with him this is what i am looking the most forward on future games of FF7R i wanted to kick his ass in the original

1:41 "you know i'm hers too, right?"
. . . HUH?
- DARLINGBEAR her bodyguard
@@user-wg5ul6ib4e yeah ik its just sounds pretty 👀 taken out of context lol
- DARLINGBEAR The Turks were her bodyguards when she was a child, Reno would’ve been like 16 at the time that he joined the Turks and she was around 10yrs old when Tseng who was 18 went to get her from her “mom”. They probably watched her house and were around a lot to protect her, being she was the last ancient and they need her alive.
I just now realized this one. Like. Reno accidentslly slipping that he was assigned to make sure she would be fine. For just how many years already? Dang
Nooo, the iconic moment with Rude's glasses breaking was left out! This is a disgrace! Best boy got robbed...

Your right..
Rude's crush on Tifa is great
Honestly Aerith knows much more than she lets on.
"Body guard stuff is not too far from merc stuff, right?"
How did Aerith know? She stutters and makes up for it, and says "I guessed from the sword." There are a lot of other interactions too (ie. how did she know who Marlene is?)
She deffo knows the upcoming turn of events, which fits with the ending.
yes, she and sephiroth know what is come next but after they defeated whispers and changed the fate not anymore at least not Aerith.
I'm honestly surprised that Aerith doesn't recognize the sword as Zack's.

Always wondered why they are called Turks?. But its cool i guess
why is no one talking about how hot Rufus is? Square Enix didn’t have to make him so damn gorgeous fvck-
Right?!
11:24 holy shit it's the original ffvii victory music!
Omg Reno!!~. He's even more hot in.the remake. Yes he may not better than Cloud but I've always loved Reno!~
Yeah, he is so sexy! Would like to invite him over for coffee :D
He's pretty and cute at the same time.
Damn, I think the Turks are much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much tougher than 1st Class Soldiers!
Nah, at this point Cloud was simply someone pretending to be 1st Class. He never went through the trials, he just thought he did because he emulated Zack's memories.
If you would put Zack at the end of Crisis Core against Cloud at the beginning of FF7, I'm pretty sure Zack would whoop his ass.
@@DefqonsigliereIf we talk about pure strength without enhancements, then the Turks would be more powerful. All SOLDIERS are enhanced and I would say that’s kind of cheating.

man tseng went really hard siding with shinra after zack died huh
He went against Shinra a bunch of times. They even ordered him and the Turks executed as traitors in Before Crisis.
I love Reno, Tseng, Rufus, Rude
Is it my imagination, or is Tsengs accent indeed a little thicker in the flashback? Would love that detail if it was intentional!
I always find it funny how you first meet Reno in the church

You missed the scene between Cloud, Aerith, and Rude when you drop his health to half.
rude is literally pitbull
I'm convinced Rude is an albino black guy.
Albino black???seriously??Rude is not so ugly
Cronqvist
What do you mean by that statement🤔
I remember seeing it said that his initial design was meant to look South American. His VA is black though, but that doesn't inherently mean anything lol tons of white people are cast as all sorts of ethnicities
@@lindsfreey9080 I could tell he was black based on the voice alone. Which is why I called him an albino black guy. Which they do exist, so guess he kind of is.
@@elisabethacronqvist7859 That's very rude to albino black people who do exist. My point was that he acts and sounds very black even though he's not, thus the comment.
Hey in that first boss fight with Reno, Cloud backflips over him! That's a pretty neat detail.
at 27:41 i love Tseng laughing at Cloud and his gang so funny!
At 34:58 Tseng is so sweet at Aerith aww

The cursing is a good balance and was handled just fine.
Dammit watch the damn flowers

Rude is definitely my favorite Turk.
Mannn I love Tseng so much it hurts to see him get like negative character development :( can't remember if he was like that in the og game but he seemed like he had a heart in the compilation.. I hope he isn't always going to be so cold in the next part of the Remake, he's 100% my favorite of the Turks
Well, to be fair, there's still so much potential for him to grow (though I do wonder how he'll be portrayed in the CC remake), so I sure as hope he'll be back to his "true self" sooner or later.
Veld said Tseng was too soft to be a Turk. After he became the leader was to do all he could to do to keep the Turks (his family ) safe
Reno 😍
OH MY GOD i love Rude hes so handsome and hot-
that final cutscune looks so majestic
You really have to step on the flowers???
Rufus ain't no Doofus anymore
Wait what?
Never thought hearing Axel call someone a bitch would be this hilarious.
"It's nothing personal... bitch!"-Reno (aka Axel)
In my opinion, reno is one of the coolest characters. A little badass but with a good heart.
They only work for a greedy, selfish company that expects impossible things from the Turks. But, according to Tseng, they are paid very well for it. Better than the SOLDIER people.
You always have to remember that President Shinra's order came. If they hadn't done it, someone else would have. And refusal to issue orders is only reserved for really high-ranking members of the group (e.g. SOLDIER 1st Class). Ultimately, Reno and Rude are only puppets in the hands of more powerful people.
They only execute orders. The Turks are all really nice - Reno too. Only work for the wrong people.
Yeah, I get ya. I agree, too. I genuinely feel bad for them.
@@annamarielee3 Yep :) Because everyone always says that Reno and Rude are just assholes. But that is absolutely not true. I would also like to invite Reno privately for coffee :D

Not me feeling sorry for Reno during the 5 seconds he thought Rude was dead 💀
They conveyed his pain in 5 seconds of facial expression.
The graphics in these games are insane.
you missed the one where Rude has to replace his glasses in the first fight with Cloud.
11:40 Hahahahahahaha reno he's so mad 🤣🤣🤣
Reno and Rude really got their asses kicked hard in this game. They are only alive because the watchers helped them. I mean, Reno was about to get killed by Cloud the first fight and in the pillar he seemed to be at death's door after Cloud, Tifa and Barret were done with him. If they hadn't help commit genocide, I would have felt sorry for them.
Well it's part of the job. That's the kind of shit the Turks have to do and have to go through. I'm still glad all of them got out of the pillar alive.
They helped with genocide in the original. Freaking nobody dies in the remake. They destroyed some property.
What do you mean nobody dies? Jessie died. Maybe Wedge as well (I'm hoping he isn't).
Reno = Scott Weiland. (R.I.P.)
