That is IMPRESSIVE!!!! The track noise even sounds like a Sherman and the fire rate is about the same! Very Nice and Well Done! Can't wait to order one when you go into production!!!
The sound of metal tracks is one of the coolest sounds and I never get tired of it. I had a Deere 650k do some work today and the tracks remind me on my little track loader I never finished. This is a very cool project for sure.
Hi Paul, great update on the Sherman. What was the decision to swap from petrol to electric? Did you get the CNC plasma cutter finished?. Regards Kevin
The hydrolic side brakes and the reversing mechanism needed redesigning and rebuilding, and the motor was worn out. Repowering it with electrics was so much quicker and far easier to drive. Also the alternator in the motor was interfering with the electronics. A few other projects got in the way of the CNC plasma cutter. At the moment im restoring a Kawasaki H1b 500 two stroke tripple. Should have it running in a out 2 months. You should call round for a cuppa one day.

I rember that track loader, must be 5 or 6 years ago, was a cool little project.
Cool, bht kinda looks like a t34
Yah to much sloped armor
that looks more like a t-34 but anyway very impressive
very cool tank. u got to make it with camera so u can sit in a simulator and drive it.
Good to see you again!
Man that thing is freaking cool!!!
How long did it take you to build that?
About a year to build it with a petrol motor and gearbox, then a couple of years later I converted it to electric, which took a couple of months.
Have you seen a sherman before?
