Just bought a 14 GLI, very curious what you're getting to the wheels with this setup. Or were getting to the wheels anyway, I saw you said you replaced the turbo now. What made you choose IS38 over the CTS turbo? I thought IS38 didn't jive well with non MQB cars.
So you just stacked the JB4 without any fuel mods, injectors or pumps? You can stack a JB4 with an ECU tune and it’ll work?
Does this exaust drone when driving at speed I want to be able to take road trips listen to music as well as talking to passengers without having to raise my voice

How did you get your stage 2 tune? All the shops around Ohio cannot do stage 2 tunes because of a new(ish) EPA regulation
I did unitronic, you buy a cable from them and install it yourself.

Launch control. All the Mk6 GLIs have it.
Lol not a single Mk6 Jetta / GLI comes with true launch control from the factory.
@@NOTaGLI clearly you either don’t own a GLI or GTI. They both have launch control. If it’s a DSG, when it’s at operating temperature, turn off traction control and hold your left foot on the brake, and your right on the gas. Rev it up to your desired RPM, and let go of the brake.

Can you shed more light on the jb4 stack? Didn’t think that’d be needed with the uni stage 2.
Is this because jb4 is a piggyback tune, so you run both?
@@kyleheron38 Yes I run both. Off the shelf tunes are somewhat generic, so the JB4 can push it a little further depending on what other mods you have.

I’ve been wanting to go this route but have been reading about people having issues with the stock turbo not holding up with the tune. Have you ran into any issues?
No issues yet, hopefully it blows up soon though so I can have an excuse for a big turbo setup

Is the Jb4 safe on a stage 2? Someone said it could blow a stock turbo
I blew the stock turbo, but I did turn it up past the recommended amount.

@@TylerMerklin I think I was pushing around 23/24 psi when it blew up. I'm not a tuner at all so I can't say what's safe, I messed around and broke my car lol don't listen to me.

How much power is it making?
Not sure I haven't had it on a Dyno. I would guess close to 300

Stage 2 puts you at 260ish the JB4 adds 50hp off the Top depending on the fueling It could be a few points more
How quick does the car heat up, like oil temps if you’re monitoring that?
15 mins of regular driving and oil is up to temp at 195 then lots of pulls highest I've seen on a 87f say 224c
