Today we are turning this Office computer into a cheap gaming pc.
How well does it run?
The following componants are used in these tests : HP ProDesk 600 G2
- Intel Core i7-6700 @ 3,6 Ghz (4 Cores / 4 Threads)
- 32GB DDR4 RAM 3200 MHz (2x16GB)
- Asus Prime H310I-Plus R2.0
- 512GB NVME SSD + 1TB SSD ( Sata )
- Intel UHD 630 iGPU

I am going to get a pc with almost the same specs and i need to know if this is running in PCIe 3 or 2 (sorry for my bad english jeje , i am from cuba) Great Video Btw !
This one should use PCIe 3.0 . :-)
Since there is now a RTX 3050 6GB version, you could also go with that it will be better as this RX 6400 :-)

I don't have the same PC right now, so i can not test it out. You mean the Arc A310?
Why are you using that weak GPU? It is clearly bottlenecking the i6700. There are half a dozen better choices, an RX 580/590 RX5700/5700XT RX6600/6600XT just to start. 4GB is not good enough for gaming in 2024. I have an HP z240 workstaion with the same CPU/ram I'll be upgrading soon with something better than the RX6400.

If you want the most powerful build with the least power consumption then it's amazing.
An rx6600xt on an sff 😂that’s hilarious, why not a 4090? The most you can fit in there is an rtx a2000 which would be better but not worth it for the price, besides a cpu bottle is always better than a gpu bottle neck because this allows your cpu to perform background task better thus improving the overall performance of the system, I have a i7 6700 with an rx550 and it’s awesome, it’s nice to see the comparison.
I used a few PCs with this same combo to start an esports program at the school I work for. i7 6700 and the rx6400 in an sff is perfect for that. Especially as a teacher going out of pocket.
Are those cards single slot and low profile?
