Hey are you using PCIe 3 or PCIe 2? I am going to get a pc with almost the same specs and i need to know if this is running in PCIe 3 or 2 (sorry for my bad english jeje , i am from cuba) Great Video Btw !
idk why you put Fortnite to dx11. It doesn't matter what kinda pc you have Performance mode is always better... While yeah, dx11 does run performance mode. Performance mode is still much more optimized than normal dx11
@@Beisepimp I do happen to be getting an Rx 6400 for an optiplex with an i7 6700... I got it with an Rx 550... Fortnite or uh- I mean Stutternite does not run all to good no matter the API
My rx6400 performs alot better and cooler too, doesn't exceed 70°, probably because of my driver, use 22.5.1 it has low idle temps too, and very less stuttering on pcie3.0 My specs- Processor - i7 4790 lga 1150 Motherboard - Geonix h81 1150 Gpu - amd radeon Rx6400 4gb ddr6 rdna 2
@@Henchmen98 Then you did not use it in a small case or you having a lot of fans, never seen this card with these temps at full load in any video on Yt. :D
@@Beisepimp yeah i have mini motherboard and a big case with 4 fans, 3 intake, 1 outake, very good cable management, that's probably why it runs cooler.
Why are you using that weak GPU? It is clearly bottlenecking the i6700. There are half a dozen better choices, an RX 580/590 RX5700/5700XT RX6600/6600XT just to start. 4GB is not good enough for gaming in 2024. I have an HP z240 workstaion with the same CPU/ram I'll be upgrading soon with something better than the RX6400.
An rx6600xt on an sff 😂that’s hilarious, why not a 4090? The most you can fit in there is an rtx a2000 which would be better but not worth it for the price, besides a cpu bottle is always better than a gpu bottle neck because this allows your cpu to perform background task better thus improving the overall performance of the system, I have a i7 6700 with an rx550 and it’s awesome, it’s nice to see the comparison.
I used a few PCs with this same combo to start an esports program at the school I work for. i7 6700 and the rx6400 in an sff is perfect for that. Especially as a teacher going out of pocket.
i got the same config in a lenovo sff pc, glad to see i get the same results.
Did u always have that dope intro or is my memory foggy?? Anyways great video and happy to see the 6th gen intel still getting love in 2024
I have this intro i assume now since half a year. :D
@@Beisepimp guess its my memory thats a little off then but in any case I like it
how a380 performs in this pc? there's the single slot a380
Hi, sorry for the late reply!
I don't have the same PC right now, so i can not test it out. You mean the Arc A310?

This one should use PCIe 3.0 . :-)
Since there is now a RTX 3050 6GB version, you could also go with that it will be better as this RX 6400 :-)
@@Beisepimp Won't it bottleneck?
@@JoaoDamiao-tb5nwNo, not really

I've had also DX11 sometimes running better than performance mode. Fortnite is always something "special" to record with lower end hardware. :')

This is the low profile version with a very small fan, so therefore it's running much hotter. :-)
@@Beisepimp mine has the same fan too

Well how do you fit these cards in that case please? :D
@@Beisepimpalso the rx6400 is amazing lmao.
If you want the most powerful build with the least power consumption then it's amazing.

Are those cards single slot and low profile?
