    Classically Dad on TH-cam has some great examples of the different fallacies in Art of Argument. We really enjoyed it!

    We did masterbooks history two years ago and I loved how easy it was to incorporate extras!

    Love your choices! Thanks for sharing, Jen. Question, how do you accommodate/ organize the schedule in order to work and complete all of your daughter’s curricula for this year? Does she works a little bit on everything daily? I’m still struggling on how to organize our schedule for our homeschool.

      Thank you! Great question regarding our schedule. I'm still working on it for this year and will share it when I decide and tweak (so probably a few weeks into the year). In the past, we've worked on the following daily: Bible, Grammar, Math, Science, Reading. Four days a week: History, Writing, Vocabulary. Three days a week: Geography, Spelling. Two days a week: Electives. Of course, this is a very general schedule as there were many weeks where we did history 5 days a week, Geography and Literature 4, and Electives 1. This coming year is going to be a change for us, though, as I can already tell that Bible, Writing, and Electives will take more time than before so I'm really brainstorming on the best way to proceed this year. In short, no, we don't do every subject every day, but we do most of them at least 4 days a week.

    I would love to see a review on the BJU literature. We have been using Bju English 2 years now and loving it. This year we are also using their Bible Truths curriculum also.

    Love your choices! We will be using earth science from BB too and partly because of you 😉 can’t wait to hear how the writing goes.

      Yay! Thank you! We definitely need to compare notes on Earth Science after we both get into the year.

    Thank you for sharing all of your resources, these are great! Do you happen to have a link for the election guide for kids? I can’t seem to find it on Sonlight’s website.

    Sounds like a fantastic year! My oldest is doing Earth Science this year for a high school credit since it can be counted as an 8th or 9th grade lab credit.
    180 days sounds so cool!

    What writing curriculum is your daughter using this year? You mentioned writing but I'm not sure what she's using? I'm looking for ideas as my son (will be in 8th grade) REALLY struggles and dislikes that.
    Also, I'd LOVE a flip through of science. I'm interested in that for him as he is definitely a kinesthetic learner!
    I did watch the 7th grade flip through. I'm trying to determine how realistic it is since it's lab heavy and I work full time. I'd love to try it though!

    I’m definitely interested in any more videos you do if the 180 days to save the world course. I can’t find samples on the website.

    Yay! I am so excited for you and your daughter. I am so thrilled that you revealed all the curriculum together but I am missing all the extras. A few questions, how often do you use the BJU Literature book? Do you use the teacher guide or just use the student book for yourself? Can you do a flip-through of BJU Algebra? Please and thank you!!

    • @HomeschoolwithJen
      @HomeschoolwithJen  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you! I'm working on the videos of the extras :) They will be released over the coming weeks. I do use the teacher's manual for the BJU literature. We do it between 3 and 5 days per week, depending on what we have going on and what else we are doing in the literature arena. I will definitely do a flip-through of the Algebra program. Thank you for asking!

      @@HomeschoolwithJen I forgot one question, lol! Where do you find those printable every year for the topics you are learning about? The 8x11 pages that are in back of you while filming?

    • @HomeschoolwithJen
      @HomeschoolwithJen  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@fab5bailey369 Mostly from Teachers Pay Teachers. The ones on the constitution are from StudentSavvy on TpT. Some of her sets are free (which I love!)

    Did you use to use Art of Problem Solving Math and switch back to BJU?

    • @HomeschoolwithJen
      @HomeschoolwithJen  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We started the year with AoPS and then switched to BJU Press Pre-Algebra within the first 9 weeks. It was a good switch for us. Thank you for the question! I really appreciate it.
