@@FilmMyRun you're so kind, would be great to say hi if we're ever running at the same place. Thanks again for the positivity and sharing the love 🤗🏃🏻♀️😃
This was a blooming awesome surprise for a Sunday evening! Huge thanks Stephen, I really appreciate it. It also means that I can check out all of the other channels too! Double get in!
What a lovely surprise Stephen!! Just watched this with my daughter. It’s taken me some time to convince her this wasn’t a set up. Very generous of you to give shout outs to others my friend.
The problem is you not just inject some off colour humour which brings a smile and the odd wince, you're actually an impressive runner (not just for an old man).
Connor Rogers and TQ on the Run are two of my favourite small channels largely because they do race reports from my home area - Shropshire, Wales, Borders, Staffordshire, Cheshire and the Black Country. I’m often in the same races as this pair and it’s great to see these talented, enthusiastic and supportive local lads (who are a lot quicker than my 71-year-old legs) film their experiences. I always look forward to their latest videos - even more so than the big professional channels.
Awesome to see you use your platform to share these smaller creators. I started watching @timeonfeet last month and really enjoying Ben and Carla's content.
#runparkrunwithme has become an early weekday habit. Straightforward delivery, always informative and a pleasant chap to boot (not literally, of course!)
Loved this episode, so many new channels to subscribe to. I’ve just started a channel myself so I know how much hard work goes into producing content ❤
Great video and awesome to give shout outs to some of the smaller and maybe less well known channels. Raley and MARM are 2 of my absolute favourites. Not only do they put out great content, but they've both been endlessly helpful, supportive, and encouraging as I've started my own YT journey (MARM was the creative influence behind my logo!). Will give the other channels a subscribe too!
Thanks for this, some new (to me) channels to check out. Having watched Nicola Runs pretty mich since she started, I couldn't believe she still had less than 5k subscribers - she deserves way more with all the great and varied content she puts out! Scottish Parkruns is an excellent channel too, though not quite as much new content as a lot of others - their stuff is still well worth a watch though!
I couldn't either. She deserves more subscribers. Scottish parkruns agreed but their content is very irregular these days, which is a shame. TQ on the run, matt clary and thatrunnermatt would also be my recommendations
Thank you for doing this. Great idea. I highly recommend Rachel D up in the midlands. Lovely lady, serious athlete & quality videos - road & trail. Impressive swimmer too 🏊🏻♂️
I follow Al and Nicola already, they’re both fab. Met Al at Ultra X Scotland, he’s a top guy ❤ Running Britain (Claire) I enjoy, she’s covered a number of Ultras and gives you a good idea of what to expect. 👍🏼
Another fan of MARM here, but will definitely follow up on your list (just watched and subscribed to Rich Keeble) For anyone planning a parkrun in Ireland I recommend one of my local youtubers P.T.Tim who posted brief course guides to around 70 parkruns -both north and south.
Your channel is absolutely amazing. Found you back in the day when I started on Zwift. You seem a great guy. I have loved watching Victoria’s running journey too. I’m a 51 year old woman and I hope you tell her she has encouraged me and kept me going. Her attitude “if I can do it….” Love it. Does she have a running channel? Anyway. Another great video and I’ll be subscribing to them all. I put on Al pepper when I need cheering up 😂 Thanks again !
Fabulous list here Stephen - 4 of our favourites you've named there!! (Crown, TimeonFeet, MARM and Al Pepper). Also absolutely love Flora Beverley too!! :)
I'm from USA. USMC veteran. Learned Kenyan shuffle in 1982 at basic training, originally called The Marine Corps Shuffle! We use "call and repeat" cadence. I'm 61 now, running my 15th half marathon in last 17 years. That's what I do to train, plus some fartlek's mixed in. I heard that the UK military services don't use "call and repeat" when doing unit runs. Why so?
Great Video Stephen. Very kind of you to highlight these other channels. I knew some, but not all. See you at the shakeout run in Chamonix later this month. (assuming you're going?) You've no idea who I am, but we met briefly last year.. 🙂
Thanks for the shout out Stephen! Great to hear about some other channels I haven't come across before here too. I've been off watermelon duty ever since that race of Carla's 😅
Olga British fells and Lakeland Trail runner both less than 5k, olga travels up and down England filming fell running races and John produces superb recce videos of Lakeland fell races.
You cannot come away from watching Al Pepper without feeling positive and wanting to run, such a great channel, only other I would add to the list is It's on Andy, again such great positive running vids.
Thanks for the great suggestions. Lots more lovely running videos to watch 😊 I’ve been watching Chris at “Let’s go run” as he takes on the Pegasus slam this year in South Wales 👍
Hi Stephen, what a great idea, there are quite a few channels with sub-1000 subscribers who haven’t yet been found. There’s something special about how channels evolve and carve out their own niche in those (tough) early days. Great that you mentioned @raleyadventures, they’re a great combination, I did a YT meet up with them at Isabel Trail about a month ago, we had fun😂
Yes Andy I did watch that with you, Ryan and Hayley. I think it's a case of keep plugging away making the best content you can and it will be spotted eventually by that dreaded algorithm!
@@FilmMyRun Glad you enjoyed the meet up video😊 I’m really enjoying the journey and I’ve started to pick up more subscribers in the last month. I posted today actually because I noticed that I’d surpassed 100 hours for the first time so that’s encouraging. I don’t think I’ll hit 1000 subscribers by 31-July though, somewhat unrealistic😂Do you think you’ll do another small channel video, I think it makes for great content too😊
I watch a few of these channels and I would also love to include your channel on this one! I watch your videos all the time. Love your presentation style too!

I have accepted stuff before but I’ve also turned stuff down because I couldn’t be nice about it. I got some bionic legs a few weeks ago. Worth about £1500. But they were terrible!! I told them I couldn’t review them.
Got to appreciate Carla's watermelon review, as she tries to be polite about the bashed up fruit 😅
Just hilarious
Very good but one word . MARM !

Freddy runs
Thank you 😊
Marm and It's On Andy entertaining channels
Surprised John Miles hasn’t been mentioned. Super down to earth, his passion for discovering the trails and local fell races of the Lake District is a joy to watch. youtube.com/@lakelandtrailrunner
Thirty Something Mike is great.
Aaaaah I was so close to putting Mike in here. He's really good and should upload more. He doesn't realise how good he is.

Brilliant films about the sacrifices we make for ultra running.
