What I learned from this is you don't need to fear someone to still get your azz busted. That's why I hate that stupid narrative of "oh they feared Kobe or MJ" yet y'all call LeBron era soft when in fact fearing someone makes you soft ASF. What grown man is scared of another dude because he can hoop.....

      Exactly

    • @la_nomercy
      @la_nomercy หลายเดือนก่อน +1

You don’t get it. People feared Kobe and MJ on a psychological level. It ain’t just about hooping. It’s about knowing the guy you’re going against is relentless.
He will never get tired. He will never stop attacking. He will never let you rest. He will die before he does any of that.
If you not like that, you gonna be scared of someone who’s like that. A killer.
Why? Because you are a man with an ego and people are watching. You are afraid to be embarrassed.
Practice and pickup and behind the scenes… you good.
In a stadium full of thousands of spectators… you nervous.
The fear comes from your own pride possibly being taken from you, when people watching react to you getting schooled.
It ain’t some little thing. SportsCenter will put you on the top 10. You’ll be on TV, or on a poster, or the wrong end of a highlight. Nowadays, people will put that on social media or turn you into a meme… and it will go viral.
Kobe and MJ could make professional NBA players look like amateurs on any given night.
Dropping 40, 50, 60+ points on you if you’re not careful. All while people watch you get dusted and start talking about how you suck at defense, you sorry, you not built for the NBA, etc.
It’s really got nothing to do with the player. But you associate your fear of being humiliated with that player, because you know they can do something that makes you look bad in front of everyone, without hesitation, if you make a mistake.
The Pistons literally started hitting MJ out of the air and basically tackling him just to stop him from doing that kind of stuff. The Jordan Rules.
There’s a whole different aspect to the NBA. People can hit all kinds of shots in practice, but brick everything in the game, because of the fear of missing in front of everyone.
It’s a psychological ego thing. Not a ‘that guy’s really good’ thing.

You mean when the heat flopped to the finals, and in the finals vs okc so bad they made up a rule abt it the next year?
Or the ray allen uncalled travel that tied the game for them?
      Dont feel bad
2016 they had to suspend draymond, zaza and foul out steph in game 6 to get it to a game 7 where kyrie hit and great shot.
And the bubble was the bubble.
They made a play in tournament so lebum could make the playoffs
And they made the in season tourney just to give lebum a win of some sort.they ruined the all star game just to apease his lack of ability😂😂😂😂😂 mans walking propaganda

@@esekay3648we can do that with all sorts of teams/players. How bout all the rule changes so Jordan could finally win? Flagrant fouls, a closer 3 point line, 6 expansion teams all so Jordan could finally stop going home in the first round 😂😂😂😂
