Pro-tip: for those going to the NYC store, it may be worth it to ask if they have colors that are out of stock or discontinued on the website. When I went a few months ago I was interested in the larger Numero Un in the burgundy, which had long sold out on the Polene website, but they actually had 2 left in store (I ended up not getting it, though, because I decided it wasn't practical because the bag is part suede). I've also seen a TH-cam video where someone unboxed a Polene bag in a color that was discontinued online but they managed to find in-store. It's not guaranteed they'll have it, but hey, it's worth a shot.
I was at Polene NYC store around same time as you and agree that they had a lot of available stock which was great and they let you try all the different bags out of the box if they did not have it on the shelf which was also very helpful. This is one brand where you must try the bag before you buy it. The Tonca, for example, was smaller than I expected and did not fit my wallet which ended up being a deal breaker. I ended getting the Sept and liked it more than what the reviewers were saying. Similarily for the Cyme bag while the larger bag may fit larger items, it was so much bigger against my body that I am glad I got the Cyme mini instead.
Did you pay sales tax on the bags in store? Were the prices the same as online? I’m trying to see if it’s cheaper to order online or if it’s the same price as in store based on sales tax?
Are you able to attach the AirPod case holder on the number one bag nano or the 9 mini? I only saw you add it to the tote bags you tried on in the short. Im trying to see if there is some way to put it on the those bags before I buy it. Thank you

The next store is supposed to open in the fall but unfortunately it won't be in california! If you're in the NY area def try to score in stores!! I totally understand it's hard to pull the trigger for an item that you've only seen online

Yeah I agree! I feel like it's gorgeous online but I assume the models are TALLLLL and it just looks different on them than it would on me HAHA
