I’ve got 3 card layouts to make birthday cards so easily. I made masculine cards today plus I’m sharing a masking card technique that's super easy.
To make birthday cards for men I wanted to use the Stacked Stone background stamp because it's super easy to get that masculine rugged look. I chose to use the Stampin' Up! Peaceful Moments stamp set for my greeting.
These 3 birthday cards are similar but each has a slightly different card layout. All of them are easy to make!

What a lovely use of background stamps, Sharon! I must try to remember it, as I didn't bring any on vacation to France. The partial use would work great with plants or floral images next to it, too. Not too big, or there wouldn't be enough room for a sentimennt!

Really like your cards. Why didn't you use the blending brushes? I forget about the background stamps and I must have them all sitting on my shelf. Crafting love and hugs to you.

Do you think you can use the same technique with stencils that are backgrounds?
I don't see why not!
How do you send these with the embellishments and dinensionals? Do you need to do anything special?
If I have a card with embellishments I like to slip them inside of the clear envelopes to protect them from rollers at the post office. You could also place a piece of Basic White cardstock on top of the card to protect it. Dimensionals are usually not a problem!
