    • @TarvarGlobal
      @TarvarGlobal  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Very easy to do so. Plan your preparation first. Do you know what do you struggle more with in writing? Task 1 or 2? prioritize the task that you struggle with more. Go through videos on our channel regarding IELTS writing videos. Look at all the skills needed and work on those. For speaking, it would be best to record your video while practicing to critique yourself.

    The problem for me is when I use a guide for reading it makes the letters or numbers jump around. Then I have to re read over and over again just to get it right.
    Example: I love too read(with no guide) o lioe vod rate(with guide)😅 this may just be a me problem.

      @m.a.ahmedshanto1597 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      me too

    • @TarvarGlobal
      @TarvarGlobal  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The margin technique is a popular method for improving reading speed and comprehension. Here are the steps to apply this technique:
      1. Create margins: Start by creating a margin on the left side of the page and the right side of the page. These margins should be at least an inch wide, but you can adjust them to your personal preference.
      2. Use your finger or a pen: Place your finger or a pen at the beginning of the first line of text, and then move it across the line, following the words with your eyes as you read.
      3. Move to the next line: When you reach the end of the line, quickly move your finger or pen down to the next line and continue reading.
      4. Repeat the process: Continue to move your finger or pen across each line of text, making sure to maintain a steady pace. As you get more comfortable with this technique, try increasing the speed at which you move your finger or pen.
      By using the margin technique, you can reduce the amount of time your eyes spend moving back and forth across the page, which can help to increase your reading speed. Additionally, the act of physically moving your finger or pen across the page can help to keep you focused and engaged with the text, which can improve your overall comprehension.

    If i read in mind while reading i can't understand the passage, it also puts a lot of pressure in my head. On the other hand, if move my leaps and translate the words in my native language it makes the passage way easy to me but I lose a lots of time and for passage 3 I am only left with 10 minutes. What can I do?

    • @TarvarGlobal
      @TarvarGlobal  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Most important thing about reading and learning a foreign language is that you avoid translating in your native language. Translation will not only slow you down but also create contextual problems. Silent reading is fastest but if you want, you can do semi-vocalising to get into the habit of silent reading. End of the day, silent reading is the fastest and you would have to practice enough over time to get used to it.

      Bro don’t listen them, to read in ur mind if it costs ur comprehension, just practice to read as fast as possible, i am telling you one thing this is not the slow reading that cause bad grading rather this the understanding and lack of lexical resource that cost ur grade, so just read a lot and try to read fast don’t try to change ur reading patterns if u already used to by something else!

      You can glance over the main headings and key points in the passage if it makes it more comfortable to read but starting from questions is a good place.

      Hello,
      Firstly, congratulations on your overall score of 6.5 in your previous IELTS exam. That's a great achievement! Now, to improve your reading score, here are some strategies you might find helpful:
      1. Understand the format of IELTS reading: There are around 14 different types of questions and you need to find a strategy to tackle each one¹. Some question types have answers that come in order and others do not¹.
      2. Skimming and Scanning: Skimming is reading a passage to get a general idea of the content¹. This is recommended to do before you tackle the questions¹. Scanning is your ability to locate information quickly and has no relation to comprehension of the passage¹.
      3. Develop your speed reading skills: This test has a strict time limit which will really challenge your ability to complete the questions in time¹. You must develop speed reading skills to be able to find your answers quickly¹.
      4. Don't try to understand the full passage: Your task is to locate answers only¹. Most questions test your ability to locate specific information given to you and then to comprehend the sentence or sentences which contain that information¹.
      5. Developing vocabulary: This is one of the key reasons why students don’t get the score they need¹. Learn vocabulary is not just about learning the meaning of a word, it is about learning when you can and can’t use a word¹.
      6. Identify keywords in the passages: Each question will have key words to help you locate the information in the passage and to spot the right answer¹.
      Remember, practice is key. Try to practice regularly with authentic materials, employing effective strategies such as skimming and scanning, and analyzing question types for better performance⁵. Good luck with your preparation and your upcoming exam! You can do it!
