I had a Defender and now have a Bronco, and just want to say that the Bronco is utilitarian and deliberately designed with cheaper interior materials to be able to get it dirty, inside and out, and clean it easy. Us Bronco owners do not want fancy leather and wood trim in something we intend to drive through muddy trails and dusty deserts lol. The Interior is VERY easy to clean, even if it gets muddy. I love it. The Defender wasn't up to the punishment on the trails, so I had to get rid of it.

So don't get a defender with leather or carpet. You can get it with cloth and rubber floors, it can be very easy to clean. With the bronco you get about 15% more off-road capability (if you get a sasquatch with locking difs) at the cost of about 35% on road quality. You are right though, the bronco interior is much cheaper.

@@paulelledge8977 You have not so much as sat in either🤔. All your attempts to quantify their performance is telling. The Defender wheel lifts dangerously, off road, like a car would, because it is a fully independent suspension vehicles. It wheel lifts excessively, which is extremely dangerous and leads to rolling off a trail, rolling down a hill, over a bank etc.
The Bronco with 35s, disconnecting stability bar to increase front articulation, front and rear diff locks, and the articulation of a rear solid axles, makes it 110% more capable off road than the Defender. Righ off the lot. I didn't buy either for road comfort lol. The Defender is a road car with a few gimmicks lol, so I got rid of it and bought an actual truck based SUV that can handle off road use, like a monster.
Nobody buys a trail toy for road comfort 🤣

@@lunamaria1048 lol. Oh yeah, the defender is dangerous and car like off-road. You are a very serious person indeed.

@@paulelledge8977 Twice now you have deliberately twisted my words... I didn't say "the Defender is Dangerous ".... I said the Defender lifts wheels excessively, off road, which is VERY dangerous. I already explained why. Excessive wheel lifting is DANGEROUS off road. Fully independent suspension vehicles lack sufficient articulation, so wheel lift too much. That gets dangerous, especially climbing up or down steep, rocky, rutted hills, where weight transfers of a lifted wheel dropping into a rut are the main cause roll overs. I wouldn't expect you to understand, because you can't afford either vehicle.
And you definitely don't know anything about driving off road, period.
Consider my replies a favor lol. ☺🤗

@@lunamaria1048 Easy, don't get upset. I got you. So you didn't say it's dangerous you said what it does is dangerous, got it. Huge difference there... The rest of your rant I'll just chalk up to an emotional response and ignore.
