so you are running bleach water through your water softener? i would think if you want to sanitize your RV i would bypass the water softener side, and once that is complete then hook that part back up.
No bleach water went through the softener or filters. I filled my fresh water tank with the mixture while those were disconnected and let it sit in the tank while I did the rest. When I ran the solution through the water lines it came from the tank through the pump. The filter and softener are inline from the city connection "before' it goes to the tank, that water never went into the filter/softener. Hope that helps!
