    Same motor on my 23' boat - single engine. Interesting that you get about 45mph . I tried a 17" pitch prop and got 45mph, but slower planing. So, I opted to keep the 16. Top speed, with the 16"pitch by myself on a calm day 44mph trimmed out.

    Great video! I love seeing how other Parkers are equipped; I just Subscribed... I'll check out your other videos as I'd like to learn more about your AC system. I had a 18,000 Btuh Marine Aire reverse-cycle on my last boat; had a similar March LC-2CP magnetic pump, then switched to a CAL MS-580-B..... I was actually expecting to see you hit 50+ with the twin 200 's but I guess the props are for more power out of the hole?.... I have a single 300 Yamaha on a 2520 XLD (deep v) and can hit 44. But, I cruise nicely around 30 at 42-4300 rpms. I have a 100+ Parker videos posted on my little channel if interested... Thank you for you videos!

    Hey! I have the same Pair on my Pro-Line 26 XP, just got them all rigged and back from the dealer. However, they put 3 x 15.25 x 19 SS Props on mine (L and R of course). They are the Suzuki Props called "Watergrip". With these on my boat, it launches to plane like a rocketship. However, they over rev the engines WAY WAY to easy. I accidentally bounced mine off the rev limiter twice now (and the gauges SCREAM at you about it! YOUR an evil person for doing that!). I was back off it and plane in an instant, but it's not supposed to do that.
    So, are the props you have the 3 x 16 x 20 Suzuki Watergrips? Or some other brand?
    Thanks loads,
    Salex

      @ACPro  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Water grip. They called 16s. But they are 15.25 like yours . You need 20 or 21.5 pitch I would ask dealer to trade in props. Prop pitch is part of installation. Most dealers give you at least 6 months to trade up or down as long as props not damaged

      As Toby said, you're underpropped. I have the same engines in a 27' Skagit Orca with 16 X 23 pitch props and top out high 40's. I'm probably a bit over propped depending on how many people on board, but 19 inch pitch is definitely 1 to 2 sizes too low.

    • @ACPro
      @ACPro  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I liked it . If you go offshore make sure get a deep v if not you will hate it. Also make sure you get a parker with a full transom and bracket. The grady will ride better but the cock pit in the parker is hard to beat . My neighbor is thinking of selling his 23 ph. He is in his 80s and never uses it. I think its a 07 with 150 hours. He is asking 60k for it.

    Hey buddy, I am repowering 2002 2520XLD DV with twin 200 AP . The only difference to yours is more weight. I have a tuna tower, 200 gallon gas tank and a lot of overweight fishing buddies. The dealer was recommending 18.5 pitch, but I told him to order 20’s. Am I making the right choice as he does not offer any trial period or returns. I am running this boat in so cal mostly fishing offshore.

    • @ACPro
      @ACPro  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the 18.5 will probably do you better. I was told by another that he did 18 5 4 blad and I raised the rear of the boat and it handled much better. They where out of stock 4 blade when I did mine

    • @stevekay5824
      @stevekay5824 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ACPro thanks for the info. They don’t have the 4 blade. Do you still have your 20’s or did you change props as well? If it’s a 3 blade, do you still think the 18.5 is a better choice?

    What motors did you take off , comparison in economy and performance? Average Suzuki fuel economy at cruise?
    Looking to rerig my boat that has 225 verados on it now

    • @ACPro
      @ACPro  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I pulled off 2 yamaha f115. . So it was big difference in top speed . Cruise was about same mph. And fuel economy was very close. At cruise the zuks impressed me so much with fuel economy it was crazy. Looking for new boat now and due to new administration. Fuel economy is my biggest concern. We maybe looking at 5.00 gallon gas again next couple years

    one more question is how have you like the motors? worth it? any issues ? Thanks man they are a big purchase. I have a BIg 25' WA Stratos with a 9'6" beam, vert heavy. Taking off my 225 Evenrude junk

    • @ACPro
      @ACPro  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I absolutely love them. They are nit heavy the fuel burn is great. No issues. Also the same motor for left and right rotation is great . They will come with extra right hand chip so you always only need 1 extra prop not 2. They are extremely quiet and strong. I love them . If I had to do it again. I would definitely do the same thing. Life is too short to have a shity boat motor.

      @@ACPro so let’s figure this one out,then that leaves Parker out, and all center console boats out, newer cabin boat that can give you all that are going to be around $500,000 , so I guess you’re going to be a dry dock for a while unless you buy a old cabin boat and spend $250,000 and up date the heck out of it you’re going to be dry docked for a long time or unless you have a buddy that you can hitch a ride and just show up with your pole at the dock have fun 🤩 with your search and journey and remember patience and perseverance go hand in hand.

      You hit the 6100RPM RedLine or the 6300RPM Rev Limiter? This was with the 20" Pitch props? Of course it was only with you on board and little gear, so maybe that was OK, what kinda revs you get top end with a good load on her? Sorry, still working on my Pro-Line 26XP with the same Motors (Twin 200APX motors counter rotating with the Watergrip SS 3 Bladed props.) I'm going with the 20" Pitch but a 16" Diameter next to try and keep her from over-revving all the time so easily. I'd like to see it hit 6100RPM with a good load with the sticks buried. I know you have the 19.25" Diameter ones, but I'm going to go with the now two Suzuki Dealer recommended next step of the 16x20x3 SS Watergrip Props on her. We'll see what they do. I know your boat is similar in weight to mine, but I'm not sure how slippery the hull is on a Parker vs the Donzi hull on this Pro-Line. I know that the old sales brochures show it going 52+ MPH with twin 200 Suzuki motors when they tested it somewhat lightly loaded (of course, they always do that) with half a tank of fuel and no real gear to speak of and two guys on board (Probably both weigh together what I weigh), so I have a lot of revs to make up from what I'm seeing to get there. Oh well, I'll keep positing stuff as I find out stuff. I ordered that Oil Pump to change the Oil last Friday, nice recommendation there! Thanks for all the help and insight so far!!!

    • @ACPro
      @ACPro  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@salexxavier I have the exact same props as you water grip. Only reason it hit the Rev limit is because I was trimming it up to get max speed and rpm. You should exspect the same results from your boat. I had 20p water grip. We calculated the slip on this boat and it was almost no slip at all . Very efficient props for this boat.
