The Island of Labuan - First Impressions

- After arriving on the island and checking into the hotel, I went straight out to explore around the area to get an impression of Labuan. I was in the town of Victoria and was;ked about for about an hour. I was downtown, and although there was a lot of hotels in the streets, it felt like I was in the residential area. It didn't feel very touristy and I knew I would have to do some researching to get more out of the island.

Try visiting labuan museum
I will be going :)
Very nice
Thank you
Good day, Stu! I’ve got a few videos of yours to catch up on! Hearing the plans, do you have plans to visit Laos and or Vietnam that one you had to leave early and one you hadn’t made it to from the previous travels?
Hope all is going well in the meantime!
Life is going well, I don’t think I’m going to get a chance to get to Vietnam and Laos on this trip :/ Late next year I think I’ll be back
When you are relaxing with people you should video it.
Unfortunately I haven’t been to many places with other people/backpackers. Plus after a full day of videoing, then a couple of hours editing. I want to forget about TH-cam ha ha
Cheers buddy hope you enjoyed your bottle of wine.
So good! Lol
Malaysia, truly Asia
Truly South East Asia you mean lol
@@olderbackpacker of course
Doesnt look like the most exciting place in the world Stu,but then I dont really rate Malaysia as a backpacking destination,Pennang and Cameron Highlands are nice but a whole bunch of more interesting countries in SE Asia as im sure you will show us.
So far my first impressions have been wrong :) so I’ll give the place a better look over with research lol… I’m looking forward to getting on the mainland :)
Doesn't matter. Malaysia is Still the second most visited country in south east asia. Thailand and malaysia are the king and queen of tourism.
