Thanks for giving this review. I'm in the process of planning a big girls trip for a large group and based on your review this isn't the resort for us thanks again.
Thank you for the detailed review. I find it so odd they wouldn't seat a group of four easily. A LOT of couples travel together and wouldn't expect this to be an issue especially being only four people. They're so few reviews of the resort so I appreciate you taking the time to break it all down for us.
@@PipReviews Thank you for clarifying that. I feel like you should edit your video to reflect that. You mentioned it so many times that if you're a group of 4 don't go there. Many don't read comments and would be mislead by that misinformation.
@@sstaj9945hey sorry just clarified with my family, and yes they said 4 or more 😂 crazy! If they don’t have a seat available for 4, they will sit you at 2 separate tables for 2. Regardless of where it is, and they won’t put them together 👎👎
THANK YOU FOR 10k 🤩 so happy yall enjoy the video. I love watching travel content, so being able to start making it has been an awesome experience as well 💪
Subscribed. Great review! Very detailed and informative. I stayed at Lopesan last year and your review was spot on as my experience. Any other resort you recommend for Punta Cana (for families)? Lopesan this year cost 30% more.
@@markm9940 I’ve noticed that. I was considering revisiting, I stayed for about 3 nights (long story) and was surprised at the $$. Might go in 2025 but we will see. As far as other family resorts in punta Cana I stayed at the Melia Falcon (I think that’s the name). It was good but far away from the beach & not much to do. Other than that I can’t recommend the others I’ve stayed at. Serenade family is god awful, Melia lowest class is okay. I’ve heard good things about hard rock but it’s $$. Let me know what you find!
Incredible review. I thought in the end you would get them a worst grade. I am checking your videos right now. We will go to Punta Cana in Oct 30th. Still didn’t decide which resort. 9 days, group of 3 people. My auntie, who is 65, my wife and I. I think all the resorts are overpriced! But maybe, split in 2 resorts experience could be a good idea… still thinking!
@@Diogenes_Gabriel_ thank you for that! Yes, I tried to be fair and subjective. The resort is high quality because it’s brand new. The beach is the best I’ve experienced in punta cana. Food was OK- service 👎. I probably should’ve gone lower but I wanted to be subjective. 9 days at this resort you will get bored as it is quite small. I would do maybe 4 nights here and then 4 nights In Lopesan. Your auntie might struggle with the size of Lopesan if she has trouble walking at all. For a cheaper option, check out Melia. I’ve been 2x but no video. It’s very big with lots to do, but they have trolleys and carts that go around. auntie would have an easier time moving around with those carts. Consider the level upgrade as well. (Adults only not family in my opinion)
I found your channel via a post on one of the fabulous @coolist reviews. (PCP) I will be at Serenade All Suites in 2 weeks. Nothing you've mentioned is giving me any pause on the resort. I have been to 30+ all-inclusive resorts and have yet to have a perfect experience and we have stayed at some highly rated ones. I will be at Secrets Tides in Dec, originally booked Lopesan but decided to try the brand new Secrets. I am going to watch your Lopesan vlog now. Thanks!
Oh wow awesome! Yes I agree, you shouldn’t pause! It’s worth the experience. Food wasn’t that bad, but Lopesan was definitely better. My sister is at Lopesan now & she agreed 🤣. Room quality is top top notch for the price as well! If your a bigger group you would have a better time at others IMO, but let me know what your thoughts are! Also, what’s your thoughts on the secret hotel line? I have yet to experience…
@@PipReviews We like Secrets but we are well aged. Ha. They can be on the quiet side, and they aren't as casual as some. Men need long pants for most dinners. Never a problem with food or service. Hey, good video 👍🏼. Quick question - does Serenade All Suites have anything like a Preferred Club? On the TUI site, I can only see options to upgrade the room, but nothing about a club like in other resorts. You mentioned not to expect top-shelf liqueurs - any idea what they actually include in the all-inclusive package? Could you give some examples? And what stuff do you have to pay extra for? Thanks a lot!
hey brother- nothing availble for upgrade. its a brand new resort coming up on one year being open. the family side does have an upgrade... but its completely useless imo. if you pause the video during the bar shots, you can see what they have. there isnt anything you "have" to pay extra for. things like the spa are optional as well as any excursions or things for sale at the resort. Anytime!
Hi was there a gift shop on this resort that sold essentials like over the counter meds Lysol and hand sanitizer ect?? I keep researching but can’t find the answer
there was a gift shop in the lobby across from the lobby bar. unsure of what over counter meds they had. lysol and hand santizer unsure as well. there was no dedicated medical shop on the adults only property
@@5949481 it’s a brand new building yet not built properly. I didn’t mentioned it at extent in the video, but it was built very poorly. Doors didn’t fully close after you shut them (safety concern), some drains couldn’t handle shower water flow, shower doors didn’t fully line up leaving a clear view on the side for the room to see, door bottoms were moldy already & breaking apart. Very foul consistent smell from bathrooms by the main pool (sewage). I’d be concerned for the longevity of this property for sure
@@PipReviewsnvm I found out that you do get access to the adults only if you stay in one of their preferred suites. Although they say you cant book their ala carte restaurant but you can access all the other stuff!
