CPIM followed socialism initially but I think at that time whole India was socialist, it was needed to reduce poverty at that time, so I don't blame hem, Even under Buddhadeb they tried to shift to capitalism, which was unconventional to bengals people and it backfired them. I feel under CPIM Bengal was in the right direction, Mamata won as she opposed cpim in shifting the bengal politics and people had the same feeling then, Mamata still doing welfare politics, which is absurd at the current scenario, she needs to minimise the socialist approach and adopt capitalist policies, otherwise Bengal will become Bihar soon.

Why don't muslim community children attend the main stream education system instead of madarasas so that they can get proper education to uplift themselves?
If the madarasas teach only one subject and that's Quran, how can the muslim children learn the other subjects and progress and become professionals?
I understand that the madarasas are controlled and run by mullahs, maulvis, imams and muftis and curriculum set by them. It is in their hands to mordenise the education system for the Muslim children and bring it up to the National level and there is no guarantee or commitment that extra expenditure will be for book in one hand and computer in the other hand.
