@@sfx3256 are you stupid bro? Captain usually always uses throttle during the take off roll, however you can notice the girl in the video use the throttle just after takeoff. Also, look at her hand. The airbus does not have cross controlled side stick. Only one moves at a time. So the girl in the video is definitely doing the takeoff.

I was a captain on plane once and it started to nosedive. It hit the ground at 500mph and exploded on impact!! As you can imagine there was 0 survivors so thank you for thanking us 🙏🏻

Talented pilot should be appreciable always.
It amazes me how her inputs on the joy stick seem so slight, like it takes very little movement to change the positions of relatively large flight control surfaces all over the wings and tail. And that's not counting the inputs she's making with her feet on the pedals too. It must take a lot of concentration to be able to control a large commercial jet like that. It must also be somewhat of a relief when she switches on the autopilot and can relax her arms, legs, hands, and feet. What an impressive skill set she's got! I've always been amazed by commercial pilots. It's hard to really appreciate the incredible size of the aircraft she's flying here. Just an enormous machine she's controlling.😮

As an airline mechanic of 25 years, I can tell you that all of this looks way more complicated than it actually is. There are literally hundreds of everyday jobs that are way more difficult than what this young lady is marvelously doing! She has a ridiculous amount of assistance and resources at her fingertips, to assist her in doing her job. Not so for many other occupations. The biggest difference maker with her job though, If she makes a tragic mistake, It'll be on the evening news!

Very nice transition from looking outside on the takeoff to looking inside when she felt the mains come off the runway. That was smooth. Her rotation was very precise. Some people tend to rush the rotation. She’s a great pilot and will make an equally great captain when it’s her turn.
All that power, size and mass being controlled through a single joystick. Incredible.

@@kematirar2744 flying a standard take off in clear weather really isn't difficult. A high schooler could do it if he's taught the basic controls. What pilots have to do is ensure all systems are in working order, configure the plane for the stage of flight and know how to fly it in adverse weather conditions. They must also have knowledge of all the aircraft's systems in order to diagnose a fault or just have it flying properly... that's what takes so long to learn, not lifting off the ground.

More caucus whenever taking off, don't just concentrate on the monitors, the real world is beyond the windshield 😉👍
I think the co-pilot has to keep their eyes on the monitor to make sure the aircraft is at the right angle and such. The captain looks out of the window too as well as the monitors and gadges, and radar, and makes sure co-pilot is doing everything correctly, his job's even more difficult. They cannot afford to make mistakes, hundreds of lives are in their hands.

You don’t get precise attitude, speed and altitude numbers by looking outside

First of all, during visual conditions, there isn’t a bigger and more accurate attitude indicator than out the front window. A pilot should learn his airplane as to what it looks like out of the window.
Speed won’t change much. And altitude doesn’t come up quickly either.
Nobody says to not look inside at all, you incorporate those things in your scan, but the majority of time you look outside. Is safer that way too.
Stop staring inside. This is why manufacturers are putting HUDs in their airplanes.
Seeing a female pilot is fantastic. Equality is key. It doesn't matter our gender, colour , race or religion we should all just work together and live in peace ❤

A. She just lifted 853 people sitting behind her into the sky.
A380’s don’t seat that many people, that’s just the maximum possible if it was all economy seating.

She's focused on performing the multiple physical and mental tasks required throughout the rollout and t/o phases of flight. Inclusive of monitoring expected flight mode annunciations, performance factors etc etc and _always mentally prepared to execute abnormal procedures as briefed._
Personally, that is exactly what I want my pilot doing, because that automatically takes care of my safety.
