Love your reactions! Its cool to see a different take on the song, but I feel that this is one song the MV definitely helps out. The song was written to criticize and talk abiut the war in Iraq, from the perspective of both the children stuck in a war they didnt ask to be apart of, and the people and soilders that were stranded there after "peace" was declared. Both the kids and the soilders are missing a time when they didnt have to fight/kill to survive, and miss the days when they could live freely and happily in their own home. Definitely one of my top Gorillaz songs. Cant wait to see more of your reactions! 👑 Fun fact, Gorillaz had actual children choirs perform on stage back when they toured! They had some issues with Choir leaders, who didnt want the children singing about "needing a gun".

The lyrics at 5:54 are wrong. Instead of, "I'm the reason why you throw up your Azusa," it is supposed to be, "I'm the reason you fill up your Isuzu." Since the guy is talking about the war in Iraq it makes more sense if that line is correct.
Yeah I think whoever did the lyric video messed some lines up. Like it's not "I need a gun to keep myself from harm" I'm pretty sure it's "To keep myself among"
