- I had the wonderful opportunity to spend the summer in Sicily. I bought into the cheap houses program that was being promoted and finally got to move into my property that I bought for 5000 Euros.
When you look up Sicily you will see some pretty amazing beaches throughout the island's coastlines. In today's videos I am going to share my Top 3 beaches, and what makes them special to me.

We fell in love with Scopello we went there in August and stayed in Castellamare del Gulfo. So secluded and stunning to Fraglioni coming out of the ocean and just a raw rustic gorgeous area

Hard to not love the coast
I would love to one day buy a vacation home in my family’s hometown of Mazara del Vallo. I remember as a real young child playing on the beach.

I like the beach near the white cliffs.
It's a cool beach town. But not number 1 for me.

San Vito lo Capo is perfect for family and kids ! Beautiful, very calmed. As of beach town and things to offer I prefer Castellamare del Golfo, I recommend scuba dive there, it's an amazing experience.

There's so many excellent beaches, we stayed in case vacanze baia the other side of scala dei turchi. It felt to me as though it was a private beach with a couple of bars and access to the white cliff... X very quiet in may,, !!

Hi Karl Want to let you know that we believe you are right about America in many ways. I have just started viewing your video's and want to see your other ones too. I am curious how you decided on Sicily vs the many other areas in soulthern Italy that also have
one euro homes available. My wife and I plan on visiting these areas and are thinking of having a second home there. Also wondering what the process was for you to be able to live there as far as immigration requirements for you and your family.
Hi Peter, I chose Mussomeli impulsively. Saw the articles, went and purchased. Not analysis, no real thought. I'm kind of a dive in and figure out the details later type. As for immigration I only stay there within my visa limits. I have residency in the USA as a citizen and in Colombia as a business owner. From what I know about Italy is you can qualify for a retirement visa in the EU if you earn 2000-2500/ month passively. So it needs to report as pension, SSI, dividends, K1 distributions etc. They are also putting out a digital nomad visa.
I'll be covering other regions in Southern Italy soon. What I do encourage is visit all the places and see what fits your personality.

Have you not considered buying on the small islands like Lipari etc? If not, why not? I think a lot of tourists who come to this area come to do an island tour and see the volcanoes. That's what we did and I thought Lipari was the nicest place. I could have just stayed there forever.
Haven't been to Consider it. I do have my eye on a beach town.
