That win!! I feel so much joy when Matt wins a game 😭 red mana win. That Magda deck was great. I was hoping the elves didn't win but I was losing hopes until Matt took down everyone 😊
hardly amazing, took way to long to win from a storm deck, could have easily been achieved turn 4 or 5. all these decks were non-competitive.. i.e. bad.
@@noneyadamnbusiness6891 We play non-competitive decks intentionally. To you that might mean they're bad, but to others it means playing more fun/splashy - but less optimized/efficient - cards, and that's what makes it good rather than bad.
Some people don't understand people like to play at different power levels. Your doing great work Quintessential Commander! Honestly, If I were to take these decks into my group I'd probably depower them a little i.e. get rid of Ancient Tombs.
I really enjoy watching EDH gameplay on youtube to fill the 2020-shaped void in my soul and this channel has rapidly become one of my favorites! What about Jorn, God of Winter for the next show???
Someday when it's possible, I would love to travel to Singapore and play EDH at the store! ( I admit I'd also be going for the hawker food and sights as well)

I find it odd that sometimes, the players will cast artifacts after the combat step rather than before. i.e. Skullclamp was on the field already but Matt didnt attach it to Birgi for the extra damage. Is it preference, simply forgetting to do it or trying to ensure creature doesn't become a target?
Oh no! When I saw the Opposition Agent I thought to myself, "Oh dang, Magda isn't gonna like that!" But then Magda was like, "Whatevs, gonna find my dragon anyway, lol get rekt!" Brazen INDEED!
Not blocking with the harbinger was a huge misplay. No blocks for a 1/1 that when it hits definitely kills your important elf when you have a 1/2 is a total blunder Edit: given the insane removal capability of the magda deck this probably didn't matter. Those dwarves really don't like elves. How on trope!
Literally says he can't do anything with the jaya mana and you can see his ring, artifact and two lands tapped for the 5. Guess it isn't him not reading the card but you not reading the board state :P

He used jaya's mana ability that can only be use for casting instant and sorcery to cast an artifact not reading the card
Ah that was probably badly explained. He didn’t say that he tapped mana for it, but you can see that he did - after activating jaya’s ability
