BUSY BRIDGET
Mamod-based tram engine "Bridget" works today's copper mine trains on the SdR:
* Empties from Horseshoe Cove up to the Gulch mine at High Topps
* Then collect empty coaching stock from Beckfoot and take it to High Topps to form the miner's train home
* Loaded copper ore from the mine back down to the Cove with battery electric 0-4-0 "Jacky" providing regenerative braking on the gradients.
The final part of Bridget's diagram is the worker's train from High Topps to Beckfoot calling at Swallowdale and Horseshoe Cove, but this isn't in the video as it was getting too dark to film!
