    Would you happen to have a budget breakdown of a start-up list and basic yearly cost and revenue that you could share on the difference between residential assistant living and senior living facilities? And maybe a business start-up plan template? As always thank you for your dedication, time and dedication that you put into these videos. While helping us dreamers be able to help others and our communities

    Starting my own business in residential living is my goal. Watching your videos is a start. After being in the Medical Field a few years I learned I like to help the elders☺

    What if you take over an assisted living that is already up and running and also already licensed.

    First I want to thank you so much for all the info you put out there for us beginners, God bless you. Second i wanted to know if there is option for families that cant afford to pay for assisted living, Does Medicare/Medical cover the cost of assisted Living in California?

    • @serg_lupescu

      You’re welcome! God bless you as well. Thank you for the support. Medicaid does provide supplemental income for residents who qualify. They have to meet Medicaid’s standard financially and also they’re level of care will play a major factor on if they qualify. They have to meet both the financial and health standard that Medicaid sets.

    Hey Serg, I'm 19 years old and looking to enter this business in a couple of years, planning on working as a CNA for 1 year and then in an assisted living facility for another year to gain experience. I was wondering what type of research I should do to find a good location to start my first house in, where demand is high and the area isn't too saturated also for the income to be high enough to support a good rate. What are some resources I could use to really nail that part of the process?

    • @serg_lupescu
      @serg_lupescu  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the support and the comment! It's great to hear that you want to get into this industry and are willing to put in the work to get the experience. I would advise that you focus on getting the experience. You will get a lot of information from the owners you work for and getting familiar with how to run the business. You will nail that process when you are actually ready to start. A lot can change in 2-3 years from now within this industry so focus on what you're doing now.

    Is the old town scottsdale, north Scottsdale still a good area to invest looking in about a year? Thanks

    • @serg_lupescu
      @serg_lupescu  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, it’s hard to say as of rn. It’s a hot sellers market rn. There’s definitely a real estate bubble happening rn.

    • @ryantreat7902
      @ryantreat7902 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Serg Lupescu not the real estate specifically but the ALF model in these area? I imagine demand will stay strong? Just want your opinion thank you

    • @serg_lupescu
      @serg_lupescu  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, these areas are in high demand but it is a lot more saturated than every other area in Phoenix.

    My savings got screwed when I lost my job

    • @serg_lupescu
      @serg_lupescu  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      20k won't get you very much in starting this business. It's enough to just have in reserves but you'll need 50-100k to just get started.

    Hey Serg. I want to start a residential assisted living and I wanted to know if you need to get licensed regardless of the amount of residents or only for a certain amount. I live in Texas and can’t seem to find an answer. Would greatly appreciate a response.... keep up the vids🙏🏽

      I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying the videos! Yes it is, and it’s not easy. Whoever tells you it’s easy, is not telling you the truth. As many as you want. It’s a matter properly structuring your business.

    How is $40,000 to $50,000 net profit a year a great opportunity? People driving Uber working 40 hours a week make that. I thought Assisted Living business was a lucrative opportunity. Maybe I'm just confused or the numbers are skewed. Not sure.

    • @serg_lupescu
      @serg_lupescu  4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      That’s on a 5 bed facility. To each their own. Go be an Uber driver or own your own assisted living facility. Whatever it is you want to do, you can go do it. It’s not for everyone and if you’re in it for the money then yeah there’s better things that you can go do that are just as lucrative if not more.
