I can understand making L Drago a random booster select since the Blades are different. My big issue is not having the string launcher not just bc we don’t get the cool dragon one from MFB it had. But also it basically requires people to buy Cobalt Dragoon to even use it since Left launchers you can’t just simply buy separately.
That’s a good point. I think they should’ve done a pack that has both main parts and a shared chassis/ bit and a string launcher for L spins. That would be ideal

With that weight I see the Whale 🐳 finding more success as a defense type or balance type which I'm surprised it wasn't already.
Because the gears are flared on the gear part of the bit it helps to prevent it from flying off the rail and making the bey move towards the centre instead of slightly to the side like past gears
So hyped for L-Drago. Idc if I have to get more than 1. That was sort of the plan anyways lol. I'll probably get like 4. As for Whale Wave I was really hyped for it at first but that gap between the blade and ratchet might make it really easy to burst which would be a perfect foil to the weight being overwhelming for a lot of other beys. Can't wait for these either way though!!

Honestly kinda lame that we need to get 2 beys to get the same effect as the OG, especially since the metal masters burst remakes were able to switch modes, and i just copped the legends version of lightning, i kinda wish that maybe we atleast got a new bit that looks more like hole flat; like something around the size of rush; but with the center drilled out would be perfect

Its going to be a little weird cause from what i hear its a right spin which if thats true its gonna be disapointing, also x Beys are supposed to be tall but L-Drago is suppose to speciallize in upper attacks. But if anything its something to add as a collector.

If they were doing 2 different combinations of lightning l drago then they should of made one of the versions have the black layer instead of the silver just to switch it up
...those gears flaring at the tip are probably because of the top disk and high center of gravity. Once the blade engages with a rim centrifugal force will tip the top part of the blade towards the ground (rim of the disk is the tipping point). In order for gears to be engaged with an X rail they have to be flared in order to remain perpendicular with the rail...:/

2:31 the only “better” option would have been to do a pack that has both main parts and a shared chassis/ bit for a 50% (or whatever) up charge. I think that would be a far better option and would have had no (or incredibly limited) negative backlash where this method has created a lot. It also would’ve been cool to include a L string launcher. If they did both those things it may have been one of the absolute favorite releases ever. Missed opportunities. I agree 1-60 is a miss

My opinion on the L-Drago:
The bey is great. Having two different L-Dragos due to different modes makes it interesting for tournament play. But as you said ilinnuc, we don't know if it'll count as a "different" bey, even tough they're both L-Dragos.
Parts to me is disappointing as well, but I do understand the Flat bit. L-Drago uses a Hole Flat in the Metal Fight variant, however, I think Rush bit would make it...interesting? cause Hole Flat is also thin. The 1-60 rachet doesn't make sense to me. A 3-bladed rachet would've made much more sense to be honest. Overall, great bey. Might not get it due to my lacking interest in L-Drago as I'm interested in the parts. I would get the 25th anniversary one, due to the Rubber Accel bit.
For the WhaleWave, the Elevate bit...meh...my only concern would be the scraping it'll cause during battle and doesn't seem to get my attention.
I would've been okay if they included both blades and just bumped the price up accordingly
I dig it. I bet @BenchBlade would've figured out the mode change. He'll probably do it just to show them how it's done.
