Chinese street food is generally cooked in oil scooped out of open shit filled sewers. And many ingredients are fake, made from dangerous chemicals. No street food in China is safe to eat. Nor restaurant nor ingredients from supermarkets
It is common practice in China for street food vendors to reclaim, solid cooled, oils, and fats to reuse in the frying process from sewer drains and is done mostly in heavily populated urban areas and a very specific pedestrian Street featured in this video, you can look it up on TH-cam and there are hundreds of videosremaining of the thousands that have been uploaded and removed moral of the story. Don’t eat street food unless it’s from a reputable safe and trustworthy vendor.
And that's why I'd never eat food from a street vendor in countries that are known for this kind of crap, or at least, not from a street vendor that I don't know regularly
You should open up a travel food agency inspired by the locations you visit world-wide. I'd love to taste everything you try as well but I wouldn't know where to start! :)
Be cautious about the fried foods their. The lessor restaurants will dig out chili oil from "garbage cans"of the more expensive restaurants. I believe another name for it is sewer oil.
one thing about chinese street food is that it tastes better than it looks theres a lot more flavor in it and so many varieties throughout the regions even though its unhealthy and oily or full of carbs with some of it but its so good
