KG is the least knowledgeable Utd fan out there. Dalot has played out of position all season, he hasn’t regressed, he’s doing a job nobody else can and is better in the right. He also wins the header to Garnacho for Bruno’s goal but kg won’t know that. He’s jokes but hasn’t a clue about football. Don’t think he knows the rules never mind tactics, players or history
Sorry??? Arsenal "deserved" to win the game? They offered nothing when they had 11 vs 11 and after utd went down to 10 they couldn't finish their chances. On top of the fact the referee did everything in his power to try for arsenal to win with probably the worst refereeing performance to date. In what world did Arsenal deserve to win the game more than united who defended like their lives depended on it and were the better team when the playing field was even
You didn't have a shot 11v12 and then when it went down to 10v12 is when you got chances don't be deluded and just accept that you're a glorified stoke whose luck ran out@@truegodrimuru8513
Arsenal deserved nothing. Absolutely nothing. They were gifted a penalty, on top of numerous other absurd decisions throughout the game (one of the worst refereeing performances I’ve seen in a long time). They were toothless at 11 v 11, then failed to take their chances despite playing v 10 for 70 minutes. It was an embarrassing performance, they deserved exactly what they got. The Man Utd goalkeeper and the three centre backs got what they deserved: a place in the next round.
This guy KG just bends over backwards for these guys every time. How the hell did Arsenal deserve to win after not being able to beat 10 men for an hour despite getting a dodgy penalty?
Arsenal was awful when it was 11 vs 11 the red card changed the game, and the ref was absolutely disgraceful in favour of Arsenal and Jacob says he remembers how bad it was before Arteta but it seems like him and Arsenal fans have forgotten they had success before Arteta
Arsenal deserved to win....please enlighten me how can a team that missed not one but 2 pens, and during the second half was 12 vs 10 deserve to win exactly
A team that couldn't score past 10 men for over an hour, missed two penalties and had a referee on the chequebook "deserved" to win? Give it a fucking rest 😂
One thing that’s not been spoken about is how well Amorim improved united on the set pieces, looked like the would concede from every corner against Arsenal a month ago to completely solid yesterday.
I really Like the Panel TG has managed to set up in this podcast. Very well spoken, honest group of Lads who know their football. Also so nice to hear an Arsenal Fan in Jacob who doesnt say things for clicks and really knows what hes Talking about. Aftv gets way too much attention for Whats coming out of their mouths
Impartial but Arsenal did not deserve to win that. Before United were down to 10 Arsenal had the ball and created nothing. United looked like they had more heart and simply wanted to win more then Arsenal plain and simple. The DeLigt challenge on the goal line just sums up the day for me. You have a United defender absolutely busting ass to get to that ball that ended up being a 50/50 but started as probably an 80/20 ball that DeLigt just refused to be beat to. Arteta sprinting out to cry to the official to get Dalot sent off just shows you how desperate they were to get an advantage because he knew they couldnt pull it out otherwise. Havertz and the rest of those clowns diving and time wasting, rolling around and crying should be ashamed. I would be embarrassed if I supported Arsenal.
I’ve said this since the final whistle at Liverpool the test is the three premier league games after it, Southampton Brighton and Fulham It’s all well and good to turn up and fight Arsenal and Liverpool we’ve always had the ability to do that on occasion, do it against teams we really should be beating, that’s what we need to see
Bayindir was great in the second half and the PKs but he doesn’t replace Onana off of one good half. Brian’s praise is great but saying he out did Onana in one half as if Onana hasn’t kept United in most games this season with his shot stopping is poor. I know he’s not a United fan but come on. KG should have called it out too.
I think it’s quite easy to accuse United of being too emotional when faced with the lack of fight coming back from Arsenal. Man Utd wanted it more. The standard of the refereeing was abysmal and it is little wonder that the players got worked up about it. It wasn’t just one or two things going against them, there was a whole host of dodgy decisions ahead of the red card, never mind the entire game. The FA need to keep away from going after the players retroactively. The temperature of the game was directly tied to the actions of their guy, not because of any sense of malice from the players. Had Madley officiated in a competent fashion, you wouldn’t have Maguire pointing and shouting expletives at Havertz. Some common sense would have seen a free-kick given to Bruno in the first half. United weren’t taking it lying down, and the aggression was probably the difference that got them the win.
Geordie can be such a meat head sometimes. Onana has made some amazing saves this season, better than the one altay made this game. You can compliment one without some forced narrative that the other one is 10x worse.
Mikel merino does a lot more than rice does but rice doesn’t get mentioned. He should’ve easily had an assist yesterday. He doesn’t get the ball turn round and pass it back does he
KGs embarrassed himself here! Arsenal missed a penalty, missed two sitters and couldn’t beat ten men with 30 minutes left in normal time. They then couldn’t score in extra time and missed a penalty in the shootout… how did they deserve to win 😂
Havertz is such a weird player. I can totally understand why Arteta got reeled in by the potential (I knew we'd get close to our money back if we sold him), but he doesn't naturally fit anywhere on the pitch. He's been in the PL for 5 years now & I legit still don't know what his best position is. He's definitely not a striker! Even if he played really deep he's not creative enough to do it, same reason why no.8 isn't really an option. He could be a very aggressive no.10 in theory, he's got the speed & touch for that, but doesn't have the strength (Nkunku has shown how important that is playing that role in the PL). Wide right cutting in also might work in theory but he's not the most dynamic player - average dribbler without a consistently good long shot threat. Weird player, I wasn't happy nor unhappy that we sold him. He's got something for sure, but if I was his manager I'd go insane trying to work out the magic formula to extract it lol
Imagine you’re a manager and your board comes to you and says “here’s 55 million, that’s all we can give you,” surely that’s on the board? If you gave 150 million to Arteta, do you really think he wouldn’t have signed a striker?
Honestly blows my mind when Arsenal fans complain about how things are going. Have you forgotten where you were for the last 20 years? Be grateful you have arteta. You swap him out and you couldn’t be very much back in the banter era in one season when your best players contracts all run out.
United and Chelsea spent more... maybe, but we also won more. Even in United's worst PL season they still managed a trophy. Chelsea won a CL not that long ago and ETH won 2 trophies in 2 years and still got fired.
Arsenal got 89 points last szn and was directly the reason for 19 points. Arsenal can go all the way but when a confidence player like him get hate and becomes the scapegoat for ever bad performance most of the time it’s unwarranted
im really glad that these guys didnt go too much on the ref. Just talking about the football and discussing the states of United and Arsenal is more entertaining to watch.
