These all are amazing. The embroidery hoop with the canvas actually looks as if you painted and not decoupaged. I love the look of using the hoop and canvas. Oh those miter shears that I thought were going to b a great tool 4 me, NOT, they cut any craft sticks well but that's all. And yes I have strength issues at 66 years old and needed help. I got headaches instead. So I bought a mini table saw, problem solved. I Love the owl you stenciled on the tag. OMG it's gorgeous and of course you have experience way beyond me however the tips you give are so helpful to a beginner painter like myself. I've taken them to heart with success. Thanks Brandi for all your tutorials and the tons of laughs I get when hanging out with you. ❤❤❤

Yes, I absolutely enjoy oddly satisfying things too!!🤣🤣 My Tacky glue half dried into SNOT glue, but I used the snot anyway. 😁 Its permanent now, you can't pry it loose🤣 The owl is magnifamazing!!!
Two things: YES!! Removing the glue schmootz from the bottle, TOTALLY satisfying! 😂 And when you said you "watching my dad wing the shit..." 😂❤ I learned those skills from my dad too. I never measure anything, including when I cook, and I learned how to fix shit in very unconventional ways, too. It drives my hubs nuts, but hey, it works! DON'T LOL It literally broke in half and where it was fastened fell apart. Got me a heavy duty staple remover now! Thank you for sharing your amazing ideas.
The owl turned out beautiful. I was confused about the color palette when you first put them down on the plate. How did you come up with the idea to use those colors for the owl? The colors you used are non traditional, but the owl turned out so beautiful.

Unplugging the glue bottle is as satisfying as peeling a sunburn😂😂😂Love these projects, as usual. Thank you!! Question-- I have seen a lot of crafters gluing together the Dollar Tree crates. When I do (which is often!) I always use light weight spackle to fill in the cracks between the crates(they never quite meet up). Does anyone else do this or is there a better way to had them?

I thoroughly enjoyed the dried wood glue removal. 😊 I did this to my gorilla glue the other day and what came out looked, I kid you not, like the thickest, LARGEST condom I’ve ever seen in my life! I’ve never seen such a thing 😮 needless to say, I got a new gorilla wood glue😂😂 but yas girl....I have that same odd satisfaction at things like that. I grabbed those from temu I think. I get stencils from Amazon and temu so deff one or the other it was a bundle pack for like 7 or 8 bucks prolly. I usually don't pay to much for them. I hope that helps!

If you stencil your design with your background color then stencil again with your desired colors, you will have a crisp design.
