OK , the intro voice is , let me say , 16 bit sampled mid orkestra strings , but how to find that sound which goes a bit before George starts to sing and later , leads his singing ??? I'm not sure , but thinking could be some Roland from JX family 8 or 10 ? My ears somehow learn that DCO analog synths sound more open and precise than VCO . I could push my self to pain to memo a chord progression , major problem is that ''second ''sound !
@@Guitars-GearandMusic Listen to origin video from 86 ( gray ambient , all most black&white - George staying in front sofa ) sound starts around 0. 22 , after warm sampled strings intro . Beside , very difficult song , cos lot of complicated chord to memo . Dims , inverted triads and ... but i like it .
@@Guitars-GearandMusic Thanks Trace , i think , the base of sound could be some kind of pipe , flute ... Juno 106 , synth racks ? This could be a huge enigma
I can only assume because the F7/Bb is the dominant 5th of the key of Bb, which gives it a very nice tension and release to the Bb. I really haven't thought about it until just now.
Bottom line: This song is at a whole new level. There's a reason it sounds so amazing. It's because it IS amazing!!!
Yes. This song is a masterpiece of music.

Hmmmmm. I am going to listen to it again. Now I am interested in what sound you are talking about.

@@Guitars-GearandMusic I found similar voices , just need editing ! Thanks for nothing !!! An advice , stop to give false promises !
I'll return to this when im advanced enough
Yeah its a good one. The progression is fantastic
But WHY does the F7/Eb work so well as a passing chord? It’s not a secondary dominant…🤷♀️
