Hello, The crystals are designed to adhere to fabric extremely well and can even be put in the wash, once applied correctly they are very hard to remove Bluestreak x
Woow I love it am about to get married but I don't like this heavy cloth like kente and stuff can I do this kind of design on the material I sew as my engagement dress or can u give me a different design for it
Hi. Theres any product that could be used for mantain the stones at their place before prssing with heat? I want to make a full star sweatshirt(several swarovski will simulate the stars). There will be a lot of swarovski all over the sweatshirt and pressing every one will be so complicated no move any of them….
Hi, it is better to create a hotfix transfer when creating larger motifs, we have a transfer design service via www.bluestreakcrystals.com/pages/bluestreak-crystals-transfer-design-service Bluestreak x
Can hotfix crystals be applied on nails the same way as non-hotfix crystals?? I didn’t know the difference before I purchased🥲 I would appreciate it if this can be answered!!
Hello, They can but we wouldn't recommend it. Hotfix are designed to be applied on fabric using heat press or an iron. Hotfix come pre-glued on the back, the glue is then activated when heat is applied hope this helps Bluestreak x
Hi Amanda, Yes the pressure is enough as long as the crystal sizes are not hugely different in size eg SS30 next to a SS5 there are compensation mats available on the internet that can be purchased when using different sized crystals Bluestreak x
Hi Jess, Yes they work on both velour and velvet, I would recommend you do a test piece, as its all dependent on the type of fabric and how well it takes heat Bluestreak x
Hello Hazel, Yes can also be used, check out our other tutorials where we have used iron for the same process th-cam.com/video/JWFRK2s16Zg/w-d-xo.html Bluestreak x
Hello, We are using Swarovski in this video which is only available to approved customer, however we have the exact same crystal in our Serinity range crystal listed below www.bluestreakcrystals.com/products/serinity-2000-2038-2078-flatback-crystals-hotfix-light-rose-shimmer Bluestreak x
Hi Laura, The Hotfix Crystals are design to be extra adherent when applied to fabric, the are very hard to take off once stuck down with heat properly, you can even throw them in the washing machine. I would not suggest adding extra glue as that with just create a barrier between the Hotfix and it needs to have direct contact with the fabric :) Bluestreak x
Hello Angela, The Hotfix Crystal can also be applied with an Iron :) See our tutorial below of how we have stuck them down with an Iron th-cam.com/video/JWFRK2s16Zg/w-d-xo.html Bluestreak x
I love your work, you are incredibly skilled! How do you do the tracing/drawing? Do you use a pencil?
How long do the crystals last before they begin to fall off?
