I have struggling the make a build like this since I started playing on PS4. I have watched countless youtubers so called guide. None of them did a guide like this. This is best guide I seen so far. New to PoE, and my god this is the first video (Seriously, like how) that actually shows you what and WHY you need to use and look for early on. We meet again Asmo!! I Used to watch your HS vids, Eventually uninstalled that, had a brief 800 hour fling with Warframe, now I'm on to POE, and lo and behold your vids are up there with the best! Your quality of info, delivery and the nonsense style is just perfect for this.
3.15 Notes: Getting an extra -mana cost craft solves the mana issue and instead of running CA you run 6-link TR with 6-link TR+Focused Ballista(really strong) 3.14 Notes: The leveling and damage will be still good and it remains a good starter. The super end game high budget version will now scale differently (possibly conc effect) due to different spreading mechanic, but for most people this will not change much. The only significant nerf is the Fortify change for Hardened scars which you shouldn't annoint anymore, instead go for Corruption and you'll deal even more damage. The pastebin works fine, just select the passive skill trees from the bottom left to see all of them, that way you can see how to progress your passives while leveling. Also make sure you're using the PoB community fork version - link to which is also in the description.
@@jmkeff pretty sure the mtx he uses is just confusing you. hes using a total of 2 skills and pretty sure what your seeing "shoot out infront" is the Caustic Arrow, not the toxic rain. its really hard to tell tho with the bought mtx he has going.
I was supposed to only yoink your build into PoB, make some changes that suit my playstyle more and close the video, i knew most of this things that you mention already but still watched the whole thing. First of all, props for your effort and you did a good job for this one. There is one thing that I would want to mention, that is the endgame build you are planning to make a guide out of. Most of the TR builds are "very generic". Especially after the hardened scars mechanics was discovered, everyone seems to use hardened scars on this build now. My point is that TR PF actually have a tons of derivatives (such as blunderbore combo and mana TR, which ate sirus final phase die beam and surviced), which a guy tried a few of them and it seems super well. I really wish someone could make a guide out from that (the mana TR especially) too but it just seems that not much people like conducting experiments. Regardless, finally found someone other than me and seb that stands for PF instead of Trickster. *hope you have a way to change people's mind about PF > Trick xD*
@@flypirate9298 pf wins in damage because of the AoE Trickster cant do no regen maps without swapping Perma fortify has a more consistent damage mitigation than shrouds Ailment immunity too, able to flex defense and offense Speed, way faster than trickster because of flask effect More sustainability in long boss fights because of perma flask That is pretty much it. Would like you to read my guide because i am getting lazy replying to the same questions

Hi mate... I think the reason this worked so well is we only had to screenshot the passive tree and you show all the gem links required during the leveling process... its the first time I've made it to maps and would like to thank you for that... I dont have access to PoB and I hope all your future build guides follow this format... It will be hard to find a better starter build due to the variety of play style this one provides ...both skills are so powerful... I wasn't sure if I was playing totems half to time or just crushing through packs with my bow. Cheers again.
Very nice build and guide... I was playing TR trickster build from Big Ducks and had the same idea for making a PF variant... the Asenath's Chant and Maloney's quiver are major QoL improvements over the more traditional TR builds and suits my playstyle better. Keep up the good work!!

I'm going to try and stick to SSF this league and being able to see the progression and ease at which this build can clear the game is so valuable.
this league is my first uber elder/sirus A8/conqueror A8/all delve boss/1st char reach level 95/36challenges/atleast 20m sirus dps and yet this guide blown my mind, it will really help me finish my act more efficient and effective. JUST WOW!!!

you just blew my mind... I am playing this game from Legacy league and I had no idea that if you put a spell on your left click you can cast it AND move!!!! I always thought that you get rid of the move part and that you have to key bind another button to move... and that was a really nice vid, I still watch leveling videos in order to see where can I improve my play. I got interested in this build because I played toxic rain trickster this league but pathfinder looks better... Nevertheless I cant complain from the trickster, it was a damn good starter as well
Excelent build guide, thank you for all the work. I can say, this build ist one of the most easy-fun builds I've ever played. I used your POB and I'm currently at lvl 90. I will try the switch to cluster jewels also around lvl 93.

been playing poe since 2013 i usually ran melee builds but this guide was so perfectly written/ along with the POB notes i had to run this build for Mayhem looking for to part 2 for end game keep up the amazing work

Great in-depth guide, looks very solid. One of my characters in this league is a TR Trickster that I enjoyed very much. I was decided to go Poison BV Assassin for the upcoming Mayhem week for being a very solid league starter that functions really well on trash gear, but now I'm on the fence. This looks at least just as good. Never played ranger before, so it should be interesting if I go this route.

This is me trying to get into pathfinder and wow it’s a lot to take in.. especially coming in from playing the Diablo series and most recently D3 I must say it’s a lot to take in but I’m really trying to get into POE despite all the videos I see on PC
Wow That's Really Good guide, so Perfect The Only thing I can improve is at The Quay, U can portal at Crossroad, go to the way that not bottom left, get waypoint in The Grain gate, then waypoint back to town and back in portal
I'm playing a toxic rain pathfinder and I found I die a lot now I can see the mistakes I made, am in act 8 but seeing your setup I gonna rebuild it a bit before venturing further thank you for the vid 👍
I'm still new and learning, I started at the end of Delerium. However, this Toxic Rain/Caustic Arrow build is by FAR the easiest time I've had leveling and early bossing. I just got to act 3 and I mean Brutus and Merveil were so easy compared to when I faced them last. I also love how you let the players know when you will need to get a certain socket/link set up before you actually need it so you can keep an eye out for the gear. Looking forward to the second part of the video and the TR/CA is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Thanks for the in depth guides, it's very much appreciated.
It's only easy if you've played it for awhile. Watching someone basically speedrun while explaining it. Doesn't help to learn much other than copying what you see. He doesn't mention how to get the Dash (without buying it) and a few other gems/items you've gotta complete other Act 1 quest. Watch his newer video on this build. It's a bit easier to follow because it has the link detailing the basics of what you need to know. Like the sockets to run, the gems, passives, etc. Coming from someone who tried to avoid this guide + beginner walkthrough learning lesson bs. I played a Ranger up to like level 45 up to the end of Act 4 just to figure out my build isnt viable at all anymore. Bosses one hit me so here I am. Copying the generic ranger build to enjoy the game.
Nobody has a degree in "engineer" engineering is very broad. There's all different types of engineers and you get a degree for one of those specializations.

cant get pastbin work.. i use 1.4.170 version

trickster have so much better defences and damage, pf only good with clearspeed cuz of flasks and better qol in general

Started this in Mayhem, cleared Act 6 before midnight. I was lucky enough to find a 5L bow from all the mayhem mobs
End game bosses is where u see if u viable or not , no matter how ez it seems from outside

Stupidly died in Act9, and not even to a boss... Dodging the wrong way into a pile of yard-trash corpses in an Incursion, as they exploded...

How about just using whatever seems cool to use since you have unlimited lives and can keep respawning by bosses no matter what

Act one needs more mana regen, so i suggest Clarity over burning arrow, and raining arrow over Smoke Mine for movement.

wait, that's the "easy" starter build ? i literally have a degree in engineer and could't follow up what was happing and how i would do it

It's only easy if you've played it for awhile. Watching someone basically speedrun while explaining it. Doesn't help to learn much other than copying what you see.
He doesn't mention how to get the Dash (without buying it) and a few other gems/items you've gotta complete other Act 1 quest. Watch his newer video on this build. It's a bit easier to follow because it has the link detailing the basics of what you need to know. Like the sockets to run, the gems, passives, etc.
Coming from someone who tried to avoid this guide + beginner walkthrough learning lesson bs. I played a Ranger up to like level 45 up to the end of Act 4 just to figure out my build isnt viable at all anymore. Bosses one hit me so here I am. Copying the generic ranger build to enjoy the game.
Nobody has a degree in "engineer" engineering is very broad. There's all different types of engineers and you get a degree for one of those specializations.
@@chancebaker2933also, this game appears to have very little to do with engineering. I wouldn't expect there to be much overlap anyway.
