- well, the amount of rags we had to pull back from over 20 meters down the line was amazing, only to find that there was an issue with a damaged pipe after all that time spent. at least we cleared all the rags.

Jonie, can you explain the rationale behind the design of that manhole? It is strange to see what appears to be a 6" pipe (inlet) then a 60 degree angle to a 4" outlet with what looks like (for lack of better words) a speed bump at the apex.
he said its the neighbors runoff. so it apears those 2 pipes are not connected to anything and one way downstream just as an access point. which was a godsend in this case obivisously. it also seems the desinger had in mind to use the other one as an overflow in case of a blockage. apparently he knew his customers
@@woswasdenni1914 I'm sorry, none of that makes sense. The left pipe comes in, the right pipe goes out. Whether it's the neighbour's or the client's, the angle and the hump at the corner screams trouble.
It looks like its simply designed as an access point because of how it travels under the property. It would be way more functional if that angle in the middle was cut a bit lower, so if it flooded out again, it has better chance of carrying the waste into the other drain, and vice versa if the other access line started backing up.
After all that mess of wipes if I were the home owner I’d go to every room and collect the wipes and toss them in the trash.

Its easy to tell your'e a real pro by the way you handle that lens cleaning straight to the shirt tail, out in the morning with a nice red shirt back at night with a nice brown one bet the wife can't wait to get her hand's on it does she put it in with the rest of the laundry?, Stevie's no mug he keeps his shirt tail tucked in, and at the end off the day an empty sewer and a job well done, nice one lads.
This might seem mean but maybe this toilet overflowed into the whole house and a good lesson was taught about what not to throw into the drain/toilet. I’d leave rags down there for the home owner to clean up.

I think a cable snake is better when it comes to wipes in a line, they wrap around it allowing them to be removed
sometimes but they have been known to grip on to to much then create a lump on the end which is to big and gets stuck in the pipe

should be a law, not to put those wipes now the toilet drain. they must have a baby, they wipe thier bum and thrown them in toilet and flush them, not thinking. it could block the drain, Good video...i watched lots of videos, but this one takes the cake for wipes, lol, you got to get out the big guns, like the Drain Addict does in Aust.

When you're putting the jet pipe down the blockage why don't you put it all the way down until you feel the blockage. you need a jet head on the end which pulls wet wipes etc back.
you would have finished it in half the time.
It's better long time now I thought you might the force of putting it down the back of the toilet as that's where the problem lies.
