So true my high porosity hair loves protein. I have to moisturize every day. No heat is best for me. Heat seem to dry it out quickly. Even a cotton towel is not good for my hair. I got the micro fiber towel it made difference. You know your stuff. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Although I have been told by a cosmetologist I have low porosity hair, it responds as if it is high porosity. Can you do a video about this?

I try opting to air dry my HP hair and it’s the worse -crunchy and matted. When I blow dry it’s dry and crunchy. Any tips

Dry hair take a look at your products. Use moisturizing LI ( Camille Rose Coconut Water LI/Smooth Naturals LI/ TGIN. Green Tea LI) sure to seal with a butter or oil ( I prefer Creamy Oil by Sarenzo). Hard crunch just means a longer lasting hold , you can always scrunch it out with lightly oiled hands. Additionally you can use products with a softer hold .I have dense strands that can handle a lot of products, layering products on wash day keeps me from having to add additional product throughout the week. I am a W/G Queen so if my strands are feeling dry before wash day I will as a moisturizing cream a touch of gel for a refreshed braid or twist out. It all comes down to learning what your hair loves and giving it what it needs. As always WATER is the master moisturizer so give your strands a good soak on wash day.

@@MzV2C I’m taking notes. And I am afraid of water which is supposed to be my best friend😅

I agree with Virginia. Moisturize your hair more. Another thing to add is to use a wide tooth comb to gentle comb through your hair right after you moisturize it, then put it into a simple stretch style. The stretched style can be temporary, it’s just to make sure your hair doesn’t shrink too much while it’s drying. I hope this helps

@@TeeAhhhna No need to fear water it’s what gets your strands popping. Water however will ruin a style once style is set and dried. The spritz with water on the daily will only result in more shrinkage and frizzy undefined strands. But I have a soft spot for that look 2. I have grown to love and embrace this fickle high porosity hair. 💕 all the knowledge Green Beauty continues to share with us! She can always be counted on to give facts over hyped up bandwagons!
