Really enjoyed watching guys !!!! Great play , best table talk and no negative BS . Eric and Rob needling Doug and watching him squirm/ respond was awesome !!!
people have rightly criticized doug for occasionally being a jackass but he gained a lot of my respect by vehemently sticking up for the dealer when rob was trying to scapegoat her
Scapegoat... no offense but for whatever reason, she might have been nervous, but that dealer was terrible. In a different hand she didn't even count Berkey's stack when he was all-in against Antonius. She let Berkey count his own stack and it wasn't until Patrik said something she actually counted it; why do we even have dealers if players are going to count their own chips. She was bad... the players new it. Rob was right. He wasn't scapegoating the dealer. She said it was 26k. She should have said she was still counting and so far it was 26k. The players are under pressure so it is up to the dealer to make things clear.
To be fair Rob is douchey too. The first thing he asked the guy after he called was if "he was on a draw"? Then makes this spectacle about how he wouldn't have called, cuz the guy has to have minimum two pair. Sure bud lol. Rob is a semi-fish and I'm fairly certain he was calling regardless.
This stream setup is clearly for entertainment over poker. That said it is entertaining. They've got a good formula so far and they know what they're doing. Polk sitting next to Berkey.
3:36:30 Rob upset about the chip stack being off. The dealer like never says 26K and when he calls you can hear the dealer continue to count… 25, 26, 27… 30, 35… Then he claims she tells him 26K again I mean, it’s simply not true. Then he whines about it after seeing the set of 2s. “I wouldn’t have called” 🙄
He probably just heard the number and thought that's the final number. She should have count it quietly, it's not the end of the hand, but he could have been more focused as well.
I find it funny that people that have played live for years still make stupid mistakes. Wait for the count. Watch the count. Confirm with your own eyes that the count is correct. A dealer's count is not binding, even if she said the final count is 26k and it's actually 46k, you are liable for the entire amount.
@@sweet_dollars5347 No, there is absolutely nothing wrong with counting out loud, she never said the final count was 26k or 28k. Rob is 100% in the wrong, why was he in such a hurry to call before getting an actual final count? Someone with as much live experience as him should know better.
@@sweet_dollars5347 Have you never played live poker? Dealers should always count out loud in case they make a mistake. At least other players watching can point it out if their count is off or they mispoke while they are tallying. Rob is just being a man-child when he finds out his opponent has a set and takes it out on the dealer trying to save face. He can literally see and hear the dealing stacking chips while counting out loud. Not to mention she is sprawled across the table the entire time. It is also his responsibility to confirm the opponent's chip stack. Just because the dealer says an incorrect amount, doesn't mean the player all-in doesn't have all of his chips committed to the pot.
This was a great stream! I follow poker closely but generally don't enjoy these cash game streams... This lineup was different however. Just a great game! Great production and very entertaining!
Yeah he was really good... I've heard them all and this guy didn't annoy at any single point in this stream. Even a pro like Nejad hardly ever achieves that.
3:39:50 gotta stand up for the dealer - Rob asked for the count once and then called in the middle of her counting down the stack and started interrogetting opponent about his holdings. Entirely his fault, props to the dealer for not giving a f*** as she knew she did everything right. Rewind 3 minutes back and listen to his silence and then "Alright, I call".
Doomsday clock is a fun addition. The ticking is probably too much for headphone users. I would eliminate or really reduce the volume of the ticking. The chime and the clock is a lot of fun. Adds pressure and suspense and is good for the flow of the game.
Now this is the kinda production and set layout that I can watch. The LATB stream was too hard on the eyes especially with the wall to wall screen ads, lighting and camera angles. The angles and lighting on this stream is much nicer ~ maybe a tad bit more light?
As a dealer I've often said "25" and the player heard "45" so I understand the confusion. Nowadays i will actually say 25, 2-5 saying the digits individually so that they hear it clearly. It was especially an issue during the pandemic when facemasks were mandatory and made talking more difficult. That said, it's still the players responsibility to know what they are calling before they act.
when rob yong asked the dealer how much is the all in and she said 26k and as his putting in his chips she says 41k no 46k to call as he already called. id be pretty mad at the dealer also. its not 2/5 mistakes like that have more consequences..
holy fuck please fix the audio. the background sound makes this the worst poker stream in terms of production quality, luckily they have good players at least
lol that berkey 66 v antonius JJ v Robl AA hand really shows levels to this game. Antonius obviously much better than Berkey. I honestly have no clue what Matt was thinking there at any point while Antonius got legit coolered and simply said ehh better spots and folded.

Timestamps much appreciated 👍👍
That Polk vs Berkey hand QQ vs 34s, you could see Berkey trying to hide the pain after 🤣
Where are the Doug v Berkey argument timestamps that literally everyone is watching this for?
Finally, a livestream with actual poker players playing poker. How refreshing.
6:47:35 😂😂😂 the wine glass, we need more! MA', THE MEALOAF!
Rob Yong gotta be my #1 guy to watch. Such a deadpan instigator dropping grenades and walking away, and such a smart player.

It's funny Robles went from being mocked by tony g to becoming probably top 3 cash game player in the world

Epic !! Love the table talk and especially the sound quality of it perfect commentary as well this gonna overtake hustler pretty fast
One of the beat poker games I've seen for sometime, Massive Congratulations to Doug. Suvarna is one crazy poker player !! Lol
I couldn't play like Suvarna with play money! dude is insane
Suvarna actually played quite well

Great lineups. Production quality is way up there. Really great games, guys. Keep it up and good luck.

this has High Stakes Poker vibes!
I was going to say this too...great show all around
glad to see a local pro hanging out w big dawgs of the game..good job Gavri
Great balance between pros and fun players unlike other streams. Great show and great production.
Doug is a changed man after the million dollar game. Seems more humble and respectful after winning hands

Will Jaffe had me crying with laughter
The line of the year by Justin
I'm in it for the gamble, not for the fame! 😂
Doug bullying berkey was priceless
I love how Rob shit on Doug for being a cheap prick with the tipping chips. And then he goes "do you want a subscription to upswing poker?"
😂😂
this commentator is fuckin amazing 😂

this is better production than HCL easy. Big ups
Awesome Commentator!!! Give D' man some grubs "Patrick!"
Love the change. Correct the graphics. To much lag
Doug and Berkey's argument around 40 minutes in ultimately amounted to a disagreement about what the word "coach" means, or about what it is to coach.
Production was LOVING all the marked cards talk😂. You know they were panicked af back there!

The Legend of Santosh Suvarna
How many times did Doug call the clock
That Robl call with JJ on the flop was soooo bad vs Berkey's AK. Got what he deserved on the turn for not shoving the flop!
Damn they even have UFC ring girl as an announcer lol
Y'all did Robl dirty in the thumbnail 😂
suggesting dougs kids first word might be santosh was the best part of the stream
lol timestamp?

This was cool.
I still like poker at the lodge though. As far as streaming.
Grown men wearing baseball caps backwards is a no
Nobody talking about how Eric Person is the only one to have his nails on the cards. Look at how he holds them
Much better production than hustler and don't have to listen to dbag vertucci or dgaf

it's cinematic
make timestamps
When will timestamps come so I can watch?
It is so annoying that Patrik Antonius eats a big meal in the beginning every time he plays. He can do that half an hour earlier.
completely rob yong’s responsibility to make sure how much the stack is before he calls, he can’t blame the dealer whether or not she did miscount it
What a great cast of players.
My only suggestion is removing the pot total from the time stamps. Knowing the pot total before the hand plays out spoils the action
Great stream
At 1 hour 49 min I think he goes all in cuz of the 2 flush draws and scared of him catching ace on river lolol
